  1. This is a bad topic, and you should feel bad.
  2. I have privacy issues. I don't hate people, I just get nervous when I feel invaded. Some people are just like that, but who cares? If I was liked for what I did, rather than who I am, I'd be a bit jaded too. End of story. Not everyone likes being in the spotlight. I'm sure deep-down Neil loves what he does, but everyone has their complaints. I have days when I hate school, but I really love academia, because it's a positive thing for me. I'm sure that's his case. Not to mention he's the only member of the band that has released extremely personal books, with massive insight into his life, sense of humor, and general disposition. Reading these, I think I would get along with Neil Ellwood Peart, regardless of whether he was Rush's drummer or not. And if I saw him, I'd pretend I don't know him.
  3. Would be fun as a little internet flash game, but as a full on PC game, it would most likely suck. But I'm a video game elitist.

  6. After the guitar solo in marathon, the little chime sounds, reminds me of some sort of waterfall.
  7. QUOTE (paganoman @ Sep 27 2007, 06:38 AM) QUOTE (LerxstFerret @ Sep 27 2007, 01:50 AM) I love the silence at the end of Dog Years. It's kinda like the period at the end of your post. Zing.

  10. YOU BET YOUR LIFE ----------------- Geddy, it's the guy from the record company again. He's at the door. The Superconductor video didn't go over quite like we'd hoped, but he does want to show us something. (lets record exec in) What? Sure, you can borrow my pen. (man scribbles hastily, shows result to Neil) Good God, what is this? Give me that pen back. (stabs record exec in eye with pen, piercing brain and killing him instantly) Let us never speak of this again. What do you mean you both want to record it? Why are you two always smoking pot and laughing? _______________ I like the ones where he interacts with Geddy and Alex.
  11. QUOTE (rnrgal @ Aug 26 2007, 03:37 PM) Hey ladies! If you go to neilpeart.net and click where it says "books" on the drumstick it will bring up an image of each of the 4 book covers. Clicking on one of these brings up info on that book plus a player to hear an audio clip of Neil reading. there's no audio for Roadshow, but there is for the other 3. actually if you click The Masked Rider first, you can listen to that one, then click the "next" button on the right side of the screen and it will go to Ghost Rider, on so on. Enjoy! and now, more eye candy! http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u102/rushnroll/drumhead07.jpg That kit is gorgeous.
  12. I'm pregnant with an imaginary baby in my imaginary womb, and I'm too emotional to go anywhere.
  13. No-one knows for sure. I hope so, considering this is one of the best tours they've ever done.

  15. Although I'm not one to drool over his leather pants, I will share my favorite picture of Alex. http://xs218.xs.to/xs218/07343/HEMtourportrait.jpg His sunglasses, and expression give off the "too cool for school" look. It cracks me up.
  16. QUOTE (Spindrift @ Aug 19 2007, 03:27 PM) QUOTE (DustFerret @ Aug 19 2007, 10:58 AM) "This may be hard for you to understand, but there is no conspiracy. Nobody is in charge. It's a headless blunder operating under the illusion of a master plan. Can you grasp that? Big Brother is not watching you." Cube. I almost forgot about this flick. Good Movie! Correct sir.

  18. I haven't seen it yet, but I really want to. I love 40 Year Old Virgin, and Knocked Up.
  19. House is my second favorite T.V show. Scrubs is my first. Although the fact that they are both medical shows, is coincidental.
  20. I'm glad Neil Peart did it. He seems to like the same type of comedy I do. "NEIL! PLAY THE DRUM SOLO OF LIFE!" He's a big fan of Aqua Teen, South Park, Family Guy, and Beavis and Butthead. He went so far as to call Stewie his alter-ego, and wear his B&B shirt at a Buddy Rich tribute. I love all those shows, and have most of them on DVDs. Makes me want to chill with Rush and watch some Aqua Teen Hunger Force, while riding the Thailand Express. Thanks for reminding me, gotta watch that movie again. Rush on Earl!
