Trance
QUOTE (LakesideMaiden @ Jun 15 2006, 08:18 PM) This one is just a gorgeous ocean shot, taken by someone I watch on deviantArt, with a NIKON D2X. His gallery link (and it is totally worth checking out) is: H.F.Pierson's deviantArt Gallery http://ic3.deviantart.com/fs9/i/2006/073/6/4/Point_Lobos_816_by_hfpierson.jpg **if this image isn't visible click Here Agreed, that guy is good
barney_rebel
http://www.flickr.com/photos/stevewall/178972618/ The use of proper filters (on your lenses or with software) can bring out saturation levels and produce some kick-ass effects. Slowing down the shutter speed can intensify the lighting too. This guy just rocked this photo!
barney_rebel
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/sto...llery01?slot=12 This guy captured and framed the candidness of his subjects perfectly. Usually "the rule" is that a slower shutter speed looks better with running water. Not in this case.

Rhiannon_of_Rivendell
OK, shot I took instead of going to the cabin for the fishing gear... (I know, how COULD I) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v394/Rhiannon_of_Rivendell/General/Pop_Whalen_Pond.jpg I know it's huge but I couldn't bear to crop it. Rhiannon_of_Rivendell
Kazz, this one's for you. We have a HUGE tournament, with teams from all over the country here, & two of the are Pittsburgh Penguins. Here's one of them for you http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v394/Rhiannon_of_Rivendell/Kazz_Penguins_8481.jpg I have better shots; but this was the only one I took on my card & brought home. The goalie has a SWEET mask@!
Necromancer
I have a FuJi FinePix S5200. It's a very nice camera. I can be happy with it for awhile I think before finally making the big move to a DSLR. The only thing I'm not totally thrilled with is the zoom. It's only 10X. Not bad, but I like taking wildlife photos and need more. I never knew this, but I guess there are adaptor lenses for these cameras that screw into the threads on the existing lens. Has anyone used these zoom adaptors or filters. I should be getting a set soon. Just wanted some feedback. Thanks.
