barney_rebel
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/21208751/ MINIs aren't so small after all - it's all in the angle and the zoom. Very nice work from Emily (one of my favourite stock photographers).
barney_rebel
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/20226015/ Bright glow and minimal colour, yet what an amazing impact. I just met this guy on another photo site and found out he's on DA as well. I encourage you to check out his other work. He is a fine example of "quality, not quantity". Plus he's from Sunny's hometown!
barney_rebel
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/21458558/ Cool abstract with minimal colour. Sometimes the simplest objects make the best abstract photos.
barney_rebel
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/21454491/ If you ever want nice closeups of nature (flowers, plants etc).... it's focus focus focus... VERY tough to do. Pick your flower or fruit and focus in on it. One bad focus and the picture looks like crap. I find the zoom does not work very well... you actually have to move up close (this may be the wrong technique, but it works for me)! This person did it perfectly. barney_rebel
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/17475691/ Perspective is everything - and who says the model needs to look at the camera and smile all the time? Candidness kicks ass.
barney_rebel
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/21907167/ This is a DA Friend of mine from Ottawa. She is so into horses. Check out this amazing cap - perfectly centered, no motion-blur or anything. Wicked detail too! She rocks!
barney_rebel
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/17686067/ Not sure if I posted this one yet, but check out the old pastel effects used on this portrait. It looks as though it came right out of an old Disney movie. Amazing.

barney_rebel
http://www.deviantart.com/print/179955/ Breathtaking.... beautiful fall colours and a lovely candid display of a playful child. I'm not sure what sort of manip he used here but you can stare over the horizon for hours.

barney_rebel
http://www.deviantart.com/view/22328511/ Perfect focus, perfect closeup. And with so much going on in the water drops, you don't see the photographer at all in the reflections. I love reflections, but that would have just ruined this nice capture. This is definately a pro shot!
barney_rebel
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/21039589/ Strong political message in the title and then the picture gets explained. What emotion in this one too.

barney_rebel
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/23092860/ I tend to stay away from manipulations, but check out this guy's work? Unreal.
barney_rebel
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/23357221/ Animals have emotions too. Look at how he got to the same level as the camel's head. Perfect focus, and perfect out-of-focus on the backdrop. Almost like she posed for the camera for the portrait. Nice work. barney_rebel
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/23367931/ The biggest advantage to having a high megapixel camera is that you can zoom, crop and still have a very good image. My rice 3.2MP camera does not leave you a lot of room. Look at the types of closeups you can have when you have a decent camera. Not a good photographer? No problem. barney_rebel
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/23479742/ Nice capture - when you crop or have a panoramic view, it makes such a difference. Notice in the description she used PS9 to stitch the images together. Nice job!
