lerxt1990
Its funny how those songs are stored in your subconcious. When you hear them again, it comes right back. I like Cookie a lot - I identify with Grover...

Ya_Big_Tree
Yeah I think it's weird how Cookie Monster is now the Carrot Monster, WTF?! If parents would pay more attention to what their kids are eating they could make sure they dont eat cookies all the time which is why they had to change what Cookie Monster eats now. owlswing
Alright with 4 kids I have Sesame Street song forever etched in my brain. Now 2 years ago my Mom took me to see this play in the city called Avenue Q. Which is NOT for kids even though it has puppets in it! Well most of the actors/puppeteers in the plays have at some point been on Sesame Street. The actor that does Cookie's voice sang this song about Porn...I can not hear the "C" is for cookie with out hearing the porn song in my head since it was in his voice to a very similar tune. Here is the kicker I have an 18 month old and 10 year old that share a love for that blue guy...Cookie Monster. I can't tell you how many times I have had to leave the room to laugh. Lady April
I loved Sesame Street back in the seventies. I remember it was always followed by Hollywood Squares with Paul Lynde in the center square. RIP PAULY Very funny man to follow a very good childrens show.
