Midway Hawker
I'm planning on 7-8 shows, and this will be my last one. It's in my back yard, so my last show will be like a home game..

Midway Hawker
Pre-show meet up.. Thunder Valley Casino, Lincoln CA... Some of us met there 3 years ago... It's a cool place about 15-20 minutes away from the venue and they have $2-3 beers and you can gamble.. (for those into that sort of thing).. Daveyt, hand over your car keys... awj211267
Ok, that answers two questions. I was'nt sure how far off I 80 the place was. I'm up in Reno. I have'nt been to sleep train before, heard it's a great place for music.
Midway Hawker
It is a great place to see a show, but it\'s out in the middle of nowhere amongst cow pastures \"and what not\"... If you are coming from Reno, you should get off I-80 on 193 going toward Lincoln. Take 193 all the way into Lincoln until it dead ends. Turn right onto Hwy 65, go north to the venue which is one mile off of Hwy 65 before you get to Marysville. Actually, if you go to Thunder Valley before the show, you would go to Lincoln and then turn \"left\" on Hwy 65 and follow the signs to the Casino. Check out a map and I\'m sure it will all make sense.
Midway Hawker
QUOTE (awj211267 @ Mar 31 2007, 12:58 PM) got me a seat in sec. 102, row 8.............not bad!!! Cost me almost $100 .................but it\'s ................. Any one else going?? btw, that is a great seat! Last tour I was section 103, row 3 (dead center). I\'ve been on the floor there, but I actually prefer sections 102, 103, and 104.. Those are on the same level as the stage and it gives you a great view of everything. Oh, and be grateful you only paid face value for that ticket. Most everywhere I look those are going for $150-200 each. Maybe I\'ll see ya before the show. I\'m still looking for tickets. SlackJaw Gazer
I just found out I am going to be in Yuba City for the weekend of this show. I don't have tickets or permission to go yet but damn, to be that close and not see them would be a travesty. I do have tix for Red Rocks 4 day later though, maybe I'll just have to wait. EveryNerveAware
I just bought a ticket to this show. I will be in Modesto on business over the weekend of Aug. 4th - 5th and saw that Rush would be in Sacramento (Marysville) on the 4th. I couldn't pass it up. I got section 2 row 14 center. Anybody getting together before the show?
Midway Hawker
There's really no place close to the venue to get together. Last tour, we had a meet up at Thunder Valley Casino in Lincoln, CA. It was nice, they have a beautiful bar in the middle of the place called "the falls bar". We meet there around 4pm then headed to the venue around 6pm. It's about 15-20 minute drive to the venue from there. If anyone is interested then let me know.

I'm interested but not sure if I can make it that early. Will be working most of the day on Saturday and probably won't be able to leave Modesto until 4:00 PM at the earliest. Then it's about 1.75 hour drive to the venue. How late do you think you'll be hanging around the Casino?
