Well, you see, i can explain.

I was watching Doctor Who, and felt abit tired, so I thought "What harm could a power nap do before the interdimensional vortex?"

And well, next thing I knew, it was half nine in the morning laugh.gif

You got sucked into a vortex of your own. tongue.gif

Sadly, I won't make it to next week's show either. Friends are graduating and there are parties afoot. Though I will make it the week after before I head off to Bonnaroo. I am having withdrawals from the show. sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif

you should play Pink Floyd's Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun. yes.gif

As it so happens I take requests! yes.gif

My request rules:

1. I have to have said song on CD

2. You have to actually listen to the show the week you request a song. tongue.gif

3. No Rush requests - I get to pick out which Rush song(s) I play each week. wink.gif

The show misses you too. In fact it keeps asking where you are with a pitiful puppy dog eyes look on its face! Anyway, hope to see you in a coupla weeks! trink39.gif

Goob, I will also NOT be able to make this week's show (5/24). I will be seeing Roger Waters live (for the 3rd time in my life) at Continental Airlines Arena!!! 653.gif

Not sure about the week after that, WAY too early to tell yet.

The Goobinator!

How about some Steve Hackett? Mix in a little Steve Walsh, a touch of Genesis by way of Kansas? What song do you ask? Well...Narnia!

Actually, Please Don't Touch is a fine album for any Prog fanatic to have. Perhaps a sampling from it for the listeners?

Gompy, dude - I'm sorry, but I don't have any solo Steve Hackett. Is it worth picking up?

Got any other requests? eh.gif

Early solo Hackett is a must, especially if you are a old Genesis fan, especially this album.

OK, back to requests...got any King Crimson circa 1980?

Elephant Talk?

Thela Hun Ginjeet?

Sorry man, I never bothered with the 80's Crimson on CD, but I'll play something for you anyway.

I wish I had EVERYTHING, but sadly I can't satisfy all requests. sad.gif

What is it with me and falling asleep?!?!

These exams are really making me tired.

Next week will be a definite, and maybe you could play a Genesis track, might give me extra incentive to listen tongue.gif

Will do MH! smile.gif

Unless the Rapture comes, I will be listening into next week's show.

Now for a request. If you have any Traffic, can you play "Low Spark of The High-Heeled Boys"?

If not, can you play "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway" by Genesis?
