Here is a photo I took 5 mins ago. My neighbor is actually on top his snow bank shoveling IT to make room to put more snow up there.

The second snowiest winter in Ottawa history and we are getting close to the record... expecting around 40 more centimeters today.

Seriously!  angry.gif

Now I could not of said it better new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

Especially this winter. We're headed for the record books this year as well. 82 inches so far, and more "snow showers" today.

Weatherman's terms:

light snow: your snow brush will do

heavy snow: you need a broom and a shovel, put the plows on alert

Lake effect snow: We have no clue how much we're getting, look out!!

snow showers: don't haul out the plows, just salt, if you have it.

sleet: ice on the ground, so walk like a penguin

LOL

Seriously snow causes major problems. I guess I was drunk the other night and after barbecuing I left the lid open - now the entire BBQ is filled with snow so I couldn't manage to light it last night.

OH! And exciting news flash! Now ANOTHER totally different neighbor is up on top their snowbank shoveling it! Exciting times! *trembles*

We had another little dusting of snow last night and this morning, even way down here in Alabama. Nothing major, though...it's just COLD now.

Is it odd for you to get snow down there? Like how often will you get a dusting there?
