...and more of the same today in lovely North Central Texas. Temps up to 105 F, with a heat index of around 10,000 F. wacko.gif

And that CRAP is moving into SC today.

I feel like I wanna die.

I noticed that it's heading out and we're going to have a cool front move in that will get the temps down to 99 f***ing degrees. The front will stall in far north Texas and we'll get a nice breeze from the gulf. Like that's any f***ing relief.

laugh.gif Yeah... a "Gulf Breeze..." whatever. All that'll do is make it smell funny around here.

Just breathing requires an effort in these conditions. Seriously - it's so humid right now we really need gills. Nothing like sucking in a lungful of 105 degree wet air. sarcasm.gif

Even the dogs, who are normally transported with joy at the word "walk", are not particularly keen on going out in this. They are getting their long walks at 6:30 am and then again after dark - they get to go out for a quick pee when I get home.

Summer sucks ass.

I was lucky while in NC last weekend. The intense heat was nowhere. We got milder weather. It was still hot of course, but it was at least tolerable.

A comfortable 70F (forecasted high in the mid 70s)

and partly cloudy

About time we had a nice day. Not hot, muggy, rainy or snowy (never know, it could snow at any time here)

Tomorrow is supposed to be the same
