Chrysalii
Here in sunny Syracuse, NY (it's not often I get to say that) Hot, continued hot until it cools a bit later this week, then hot for a couple days until it cools again. With some storms scattered about. (I sound like the Weather Channel) It's a muggy 66F (18.8C), with a forecasted high of an also muggy 86F (31.6C) (80F is hot for me). Not so windy, haven't had much wind for quite some time. Chance of some severe thunderstorms today (the SPC has us at a slight risk 2% tornado, 30% hail, 30% wind) Though it will start getting slightly cooler and less humid as the weekend comes. oh and the average high for this time of year is 72F (22C). The average high in the height of summer is 82F (27.7C), so it's been very hot. It's been hot and sunny all week. Yesterdays official high was 90F (32C), though I got a 92F as a high. On a side note, my vacation that was a couple weeks ago, it snowed on the first day.

Rush Cocky
It's 9AM and it's already 75 degrees. Yay. Hello August weather, I hate you and wish you would go back to HELL. Temps may be approaching 100 degrees this weekend, which means we're looking at heat indices around 110. Awesome. Chrysalii
After weeks of hot, we are now back to cloudy cool Syracuse. well, maybe not so cloudy, it's been unusually sunny lately (except this past weekend) ...nice while it lasted. If it's going to be like last year then we will have a warm Spring followed by a cool Summer. I'm still wearing shorts though. oh, the numbers... today,'s forecasted high is 69F, and partly cloudy, with temps slowly climbing through the week to 82F by the weekend. Kind of like my vacation back in May, where it snowed the first day....Syracuse, where snow can happen any time except July, which if I remember correctly (I probably don't) is the only month without any recorded snow. Rush Cocky
It is exactly 100 deg F this hour. Heat index is also 100. I saw that along the coast, there was a heat index of 116 deg F (that's about 47 deg C). That's deathly hot. Tomorrow is supposed to be hotter. Yipee. Mara
I do not know the temperature or the heat index, nor do I want to. It's just really f*cking hot. And sticky. And steamy and gross, thanks to the nasty little shower that just passed through. I f*cking hate summer.

Tinwoodsman
It is supposed to rain 40-50 mm here in the next 24 hrs. Supposed to usually sounds optimistic on the Canuck prairie, but after 8 inches of rain in the last 6 weeks, it might be a good time to start building an ark. And ... I know this quantity means nothing to the rain other locations get. Edited June 17, 2010 by Tinwoodsman
