GeddysMullet Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 You've given serious thought to the question of whether the Analog Kid grew up to be the Digital Man.

Tarkus406 Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 When a thunderstorm warning appears on the TV screen you right away go out for a drive blasting "Jacob's Ladder" 1
telegraphcreeklocal Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 When, after a hard days' work, you go home and blast "Best I Can"!
Tarkus406 Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Ironically I'm in the middle of a huge thunderstorm! BREAK OUT PERMANENT WAVES!
telegraphcreeklocal Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 In a distant overture...The next music phrase is one of the best jams. With Geddy fully shredding on bass and synths...

Mara Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 (edited) You post on Oprah's website that her book club' reading list, while it has its good points, pales in comparison to Bubba's. (The mods deleted the post, unfortunately). Your password to retrieve your voicemail at work has been "2112" for the past 12 years, (even though you've had 4 different jobs in that time span). Your PIN number is "2112" (Not anymore). Edited April 3, 2008 by Marathonist
ifloveremains Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 You have the urge to say "subdivisions" in a deep voice whenever you drive through the suburbs, and occasionally give in to that urge. You watch television not necessarily because you like the shows, but because of the chance of spotting a Rush reference somewhere. You smile and nod at anyone you see in a Rush shirt, and often get the same in return.
asp324 Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 You get really excited when you see Geddy on TV at the Sox/Jays game.
fledgehog Posted April 5, 2008 Author Posted April 5, 2008 hahahaha i completely forgot about this thread
fledgehog Posted April 5, 2008 Author Posted April 5, 2008 You set all your clocks for 24-hour time just so that it will display "21:12" once a day.
Choose/the/light Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 (edited) you want to find a tape player just so you can listen to Signals on tape, which was given to you by your dad's business partner because he knew you loved Rush Edited April 5, 2008 by Choose/the/light

I was a homebuilder until the bottom fell out of the housing market, so I felt this urge many times a day, and I frequently gave into it.
Tarkus406 Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 When you buy every Rush vinyl LP you see, regardless of its condition
Choose/the/light Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 You go play billiards for PE and you put La Villa on the Jukebox even though it costs twice as much as a regular song, then everyone hates you because it is 11 minutes long with no vocals, and that just makes you enjoy it even more.
gleamingalloyaircar81 Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 NICE CTL!!!! Billiards for PE!? WTF we didnt get to do that!
