Dread Pirate Robert
So, last week I decided I had been drinking too much lately, and was going to take some time off from that sort of thing. Lo and behold, I then come down with a truly awful horrible illness, some flulike thing that has just floored me in the past few days. Yesterday I felt better, and thought it was going away, but today it returned with a vengeance. I feel like complete shit. The only reason I am typing this now is because I have already slept so much today I can't sleep anymore, and it gives me something to do other than concentrate on how crappy I feel. Truly, I can't remember a time when I felt this bad from illness. The clear Moral -- don't stop drinking, or your body will go to hell.
Weakly Criminal
YO HO DPR! Yours isn't the first such case Ive heard of. I've heard of many people who get sick when quiting some substance or other: drink, smoke, snort, etc. I think the immune system gets used to a certain status quo in the body and takes time to adjust to a new balance. Just my crazy little conspiracy theory.

Alcohol is good for you, but only in small quantities. To feel worse because you stop drinking is worrying

I just mean, that you are still drunk when you wake up, and then it wears off, and then you just take a nap later, and then when you wake up, the hangover is gone. rotyb
O.K. I have heard a theory on the benefits of drinking . every one says drinking kills brain cells which is true . however research shows liquor targets the weaker dying cells which are replaced with new healthy cells . SSSooo drinking makes you smarter

daveyt
i can't find a picture for it damnit but i had the tastiest bottle of beer last night. it was corked and in the belgian style but man this could easily compete with some of belgium's finest i think it's brewed in oregon if i remember the label correctly. it's called TWELVE somewhere in it's name and you gotta drink it out of some kind of glass (a goblet works nicely ). for obvious reasons it is very high in alcohol, but man it was like enjoying the finest, cleanest, most sumptuous ale on a chilly night in belgium :hohoho: except that we drinking it in a SANTA ANA parking lot; going to see the *DEICIDE showe. bottom line: if you like getting good head from your beers, you will absolutely love the head this beer gives the show was like whateverz but you can guarantee i pimped that whole place hard because :moneytalks: and we always try to maximize the experience! EDIT: beer is good for you :belgianale: * the singer plays a RIK and it is muddy as all hell Edited April 6, 2006 by daveyt
