blackhawkrush Posted January 3, 2024 Posted January 3, 2024 Predators 3 Hawks 0 Injuries are piling up. 11-24-2
blackhawkrush Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 Rangers 4 Hawks 1 Mrazek at MSG = Show-Time. 11-25-2
Rhyta Posted January 5, 2024 Author Posted January 5, 2024 Avs win another game in OT with a goal by MacKinnon, 5-4 over Dallas. He's tied with Kucherov for scoring lead 1
blackhawkrush Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 'Doctor Howard, Doctor Doctor Howard' Congrats to U.S. for winning World Juniors, with four Hawks on its roster. Get 'em up to the big league! 1
blackhawkrush Posted January 6, 2024 Posted January 6, 2024 Devils 4 Hawks 2 And we lose Bedard. Hopefully Hughes shares the same fate as he also left the game. Just found another team to hate. 11-26-2 1
Nova Carmina Posted January 6, 2024 Posted January 6, 2024 So, thoughts on Bedard being the youngest All-Star selection? (Ever? In years? I've forgotten the specifics). Is it tokenism, or does the Wunderkind deserve it? 2

He leads the team in scoring. I don't see a better choice coming out of Chicago. 1
blackhawkrush Posted January 6, 2024 Posted January 6, 2024 Watching the behavior of the Flames in Philadelphia today, it's almost definite we're going to lose another guy tomorrow.
blackhawkrush Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 Not a fan of Canucks, but job well done tonight. 1
Rhyta Posted January 7, 2024 Author Posted January 7, 2024 Avs got their heads handed to them tonight. Playing from a deficit eventually catches up to you...what a train wreck 1

That was a vicious hit At first, it looked like a clean hit, but Bedard was bleeding from the mouth, so obviously it wasn't. Jaw problem. But if it's not a concussion, he shouldn't miss a lot of time, hopefully. 1
blackhawkrush Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 Hawks 4 Flames 3 Blackwell is the superstar on this team. First Calgary goal, so Mrazek. 12-26-2 1
Rhyta Posted January 9, 2024 Author Posted January 9, 2024 Fantastic game to make up for the stinker on Saturday. Avs duel it out with Boston, win 4-3 in a shootout. Was a great game but nerve wracking too. Had an unusual occurrence, both teams got called for too many men on the ice at the same time Don't think that is something I have ever seen before 1

My hubby is sending our 10 votes each day. I think it runs through the 11th. 1

Those constant smiling faces, I just can't get with the program.
blackhawkrush Posted January 12, 2024 Posted January 12, 2024 Jets 2 Hawks 1 At the trade deadline, take my Mrazek, please. 12-28-2
blackhawkrush Posted January 12, 2024 Posted January 12, 2024 I don't mind Foligno signing a two-year extension, but let's not make a habit of giving 36-year-olds $4.5M contracts.

Will announce the rest tonight.

Didn't they set themselves up for this? Clearing out the team then scrabbling around to get players, going to cost them money in any event. Looks like Perry is going to be playing again, rumors say Toronto is interested 1

From what I saw, Mrazek played a great game, the defense did too but they all ran out of gas IMHO 1
