So far today just picking and choosing from Speak Now, these songs a few times:

Back To December

Dear John

The Story Of Us

Haunted

Last Kiss

Yeah these are my standouts for the most part. Speak Now and Sparks Fly really pop live.

Glad you're respecting her as a songwriter, getting past the made for modern radio hits (which I think she's great at), she's truly a wordsmith.

This is my favourite song of hers at the moment, its a bonus track from Folklore:

Dan Fogelberg- Home Free

I don't rate albums out of 10 anymore, but I can happily say I would rank this album amongst my dearest favourites. Fleet Foxes debut, Lacuna Coil's Karmacode, Machine Head's The Blackening, Mariah Carey's Butterfly, Third Eye Blinds debut, Ten...this is right up there for me.

The Alan Parsons Project- The Turn Of A Friendly Card

Weird observation: the album art somehow looks exactly how this album sounds.

What a stunning album from an undervalued band.

It’s the songwriting that’s got me coming back over and over. I’ll check this out and the other song you shared in the other thread in a bit.

Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool

This is depressing.

Jackson Browne- For Everyman. (10/10)

Jackson is maybe the unsung hero of this genre.

He didn't make a lot of albums in his prime.  but every one is a gem.

he is a master at introspective lyrics and describing heartbreak.
