I've noticed that I haven't been on here in a while.

 

I've scanned many of the sub forums here and the Rush Forum stuff above.

 

Not much is happening here.

 

Are people also taking a break from typing on here?

 

I see Duck is still trying to add spice to this section.

More beers and the drunken Sunday jukebox! Air guitar will be unleashed!

Then I'm driving down to my beautiful girlfriend's place and watch Sunday Night Football.

I am very lucky buddy. Lisa's girls like me.

I think because I am am a great dad and raised two amazing daughters I totally get it.

 

I'm in love buddy.

 

It's crazy I know.

The whole CD is great. And while this was Marvin's project, at first his boss Barry Gordy was uneasy about an album with so much social commentary. Barry wanted to let the hits keep on coming. But Marvin "threatened" to put out shite albums to fulfill his Motown contract, and take What's Goin' On to another label. Barry relented, allowed the recording (backed by the magnificent work of The Funk Brothers and other local Detroit musicians), and the rest is history.
