pjbear05
The Gris-Gris Man is no longer with us. I remember WABX in Detroit getting hard into "Gris-Gris", his breakthrough album. The title song and "I Walk On Gilded Splinters" was played a lot on the station. And his performance of "Such A Night" in "The Last Waltz." RIP, my ass. He's probably stomping around New Orleans arm in arm with Queen Marie Laveau at this moment. Stomp on, John!

invisible airwave
I’m always gonna associate him with his cover of Frosty The Snowman through a Beavis And Butthead episode and a funny riff from MST3K’s Manos episode describing Torgo as “Tom Cruise is Dr John!” RIP
