I was always good at taking things apart. Just crank it 45 degrees, pop out the middle block with a knife, and the whole thing came apart. I was more fascinated by how it all went together than I was in trying to solve the f***ing thing.

OldRUSHfan
I grew up in the '60s...this was my 'stuff'One of my earliest 'SETS'Gravity walkersmore later ORFie, that 3 level station is great ... I love that I'm looking at pics of it now In the 70s, there was a store called The Wisteria House .. It was more of a gift shop than toy store, but they had a locked glass display of Corgi cars .. The women who worked there were like the women in Suspiria, but a bit nicer Anyways, you'd have to tell them which car you wanted, and they;d come over with keys and unlock the drawers below and find the car in its box .. I loved that store ... I still have a bunch of these I had to go into Ann Arbor to get to a place that had Corgis and Matchbox style toys...Models of Yesteryear[Lesney] etc. Hobby Center was at Arborland, a newer Mall of stores just east of U.S. 23 on Washtenaw Road on the east side of Ann Arbor.Where I bought my First Aurora Thunderjet HO slot car in the late ' 60s

The Cat 3
When I was 8 or 9, my uncle gave me the coolest toy for Christmas. It was called Schaper U-Fly-It. It was a Piper Cherokee airplane on a line that you could control and try to land on a six foot landing strip. So cool!
