When my kid was younger, we did the rocket kit with baking soda and vinegar that starts at 1:05 here. Worked pretty well....and environmentally friendly. OldRUSHfan
HotWheels, of course, came out in 1968, and this was my first. A Blue 'Silhouette' show car. The Batmobile from the 'Batman Vs. Superman' movie, so I still collect certain HotWheels.Just got this from my first niece for X-mas!Me and my first 'plushie' this is my Panda, which I still have. alittle worse for wear, but still with it's little blanket.Monster Bubble bath 'SOAKY'. I also had the 'Fuzzy Wuzzy' soap that 'grew hair' and had a toy in it when you used the soap up.One of my first models I built myself from the box. amd after we'd moved from Ypsi to Saline. my first model was by a company in Michigan called PYRO These models came with substitute Chromed parts, I.e. bumpers etc. Dad bought me a few of these because they were inexpensive at the time, mid '60s.I always preferred the models made of metal instead of plastic. Just felt more substantial like you were making a real car. Then I enjoyed crashing them together to see which would hold up. Apparently I had a little destructive streak I had an Uncle, my Mom's brother that was a Funeral Director in southern Indiana, Washington D. C. [Davis County, lol] who used to build all the ambulance and Hearse models from back then...and one time when we went down to visit him he and I smashed almost all of them to bits one night... used to have a destructive edge to my own models in my early years... I smashed my first "Boot Hill Express" one day when I got mad for some reason...1968 summer

There was a five and dime store in the town where my mom grew up where I used to get those plastic dinosaurs every time we visited. I loved those things. And rabbits feet for a good luck charm. We had a set of the Jarts too. Edited February 28, 2018 by EagleMoon

I had a WAC Corporal rocket, and it flew well...never owned or flew a Cox aircraft.
