Dudes and Dragons

I never played D&D. I was trying to get laid instead. :)

Instead?

Dude, you don't know what you were missing out on.

I guess you just didn't know any hot chicks who liked to dress up and role play as nymphomaniac elves . . .

If D&D alignments were real I think I'd be closest to Neutral Good. Not sure.

I know these 3 things though:

1) treeduck would be Neutral.

2) RUSHHEAD666 would be Chaotic Neutral.

3) Zumbi would be Chaotic Evil.

That's pretty funny.

Whaddya think? Are any of those accurate?

Where do you think you'd fall on the D&D Alignment thang?

As a player, I always preferred either Chaotic Good or Chaotic Neutral characters.

I remember making a chaotic neutral character because it allowed for more flexibility with choices.

That's funny because yeah, I knew a few hot, nerdy nymphos that actually were into D&D. And almost all of them DID like the whole dress up thang.

I still want to learn to play. Once a nerd always a nerd.

Here are a couple of links to the free rules for Pathfinder, which is basically D&D 3.5 under a different name.

I expect you to have mastered the rules and to be running your own campaigns within a week. Get hoppin! ;)

I once made a character named Buttgar the Flatulent Half-Orc just to annoy a certain group of other players with. Though, admittedly, that does not rise to the level of a dominatrix she-orc, which is something I never thought of, either as a player or as a DM. Doh. That wounds me to my ex DM and player core, that I never thought of such a thing.

I always wanted to learn to play D&D but I didn't have anyone to teach me or play with me.

You have to fully throw yourself into it, and realize 90% of what you say at the table is completely ridiculous. Once you get past the "wow this is kind of embarrassing" part it's pretty fun actually. If you can say "I go up to the Owlbear and cleave it in twain with my bastard sword!" with gusto and a straight face then this is the game for you lol.

Me, I enjoy the AD&D 2nd edition ruleset, which was from the late 80s and no longer used I guess. THAC0, the lower AC = better, 1D4+1 damage rolls and etc.

Drow females are like this IIRC, it's been a while since I've played Baldur's Gate 2 though.
