That stinks ! Supposedly it is available at these sources to try- - but they are online- Amazon would get it there by Monday-

Rush Backstage Club: http://rushbackstage.com/

Amazon DVD/Blu-Ray: http://smarturl.it/RushTSSBD

Best Buy (with GUMBY keychain): http://smarturl.it/RushTSSBestBuyBD

Newbury Comics (with poster signed by filmmakers): http://smarturl.it/RushTSSNewbury ( I don't think it's a poster, I think it's a booklet)

FYE (with commemorative poster): http://smarturl.it/RushTSSFYE (although they say promo materials may be missing ??)

Somewhere in all the release information there was something that said independent record stores would also have the release tomorrow with the commemorative poster, but I can't find where I read that. If there's an independent store around you, you could check with them, they may have it in store tomorrow! And you would be supporting your local record store !! :)

ETA: One independent record store in PA (not that close to me, unfortunately) is selling it with a souvenir tour laminate while supplies last. I knew it had to be a PA store before I even looked because they were advertising a record of "25 Polka Greats" :D

We just got an FYE store here. It brings me back to the good o' Sam Goode days. I'll have to see if they sell the DVD. Edited by A rocket that ignites itself

Welcome to TRF, Big Money! I hope you are able to get it at FYE! I liked the one that used to be in our town. It should be a good RUSH night tomorrow night with everyone watching their DVDs! :)

I bought the Blu-Ray yesterday at my local record store. :D

Hi, please, could you confirm if there is any subtitles options (specialy brazilian portuguese) ?

Thanks

The German Blu-Ray version has no subtitle options at all. Audio is 5.1 or stereo and that's it.

It's the master or close to it. The difference in video and audio is astounding compared to the bootleg version that's circulated for over 20 years. For those that don't collect and can't appreciate the difference you may not be impressed. But I'm in shock over how much better it is. I only watched a few seconds of a couple songs because I'm saving it to crank up tonight. But it's very good (again, if you have realistic expectations, if you expect it to look like R40 then of course you're not getting that.) Edited by snowdog2112

Presto footage sounds perfect.

Video is master-quality. Just remember it doesn't have the extra lighting they have when they film, so it's a tad darker than normal. It's a minimally darker version of the Show of Hands video.

Scars, War Paint, and inflatable bunnies on BluRay. Love it!!!!

Exactly, this was not filmed by the band, it was by the venue, and was never intended for release. You're not going to have the number of cameras or the lighting needed comparatively. The long shots are very dark. But this is very very good! Better than I could have hoped for!

I hope it does but as I said, I just watched the beginning of a couple songs because I couldn't wait to see how it looked and sounded, gonna devour the whole thing tonight. It occurred to me recently though that they may cut that out because of rights like they cut the Beatles bit out of The Trees ending on R30. It's definitely on the source footage though.

Just went and looked just for you. Yep, Wipeout ending is there! :)
