What Double Albums Would NOT Have Been Better As A Single Album??

Physical Graffiti comes to mind. Innuendo needs most every track. Made In Heaven could go either way. I'd actually argue for The Astonishing since the story is told pretty sequentially over all the tracks...but I haven't heard the second disc yet lol. I actually love what I've heard of it, but I totally understand the hate.

The counter argument of this is,

Use Your Illusion I and II could have had 11 less tracks and barely been able to make 1 good LP

Even the leftover tracks on Exile on Main Street should have made it.

Yes! Exile is essential, through and through. Not a single wasted note.

I haven't always felt that way about that record, but I do now.
