Well in the last few years Rush have made it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and have gotten tons of recognition. You could argue that it was only recently that they truly hit the big time. So with that in mind the board needs to modernize to reflect it. It's time to use the more recent look of this new, Big Time Rush.

I saw this movie for the first time not too long ago. I really enjoyed it and it's one of the few times where Cage actually does some decent acting as opposed to the over the top hilarity that I usually watch his movies for. Don't get me wrong it was still hilarious at times but it's not Cage going nuts like the interrogation scene in Ghost Rider 2.

Snakes and Arrows has Far Cry and Workin' Them Angels which are excellent songs, it also has a few other very solid ones and a bunch of samey sounding blandness. VT (remixed or otherwise) has a bunch of songs that would have sounded really good if they didn't botch the recording. That being said, Nocturne, Vapor Trail and a few others are still very enjoyable. My copy of VT has spent a lot more time in the car than Snakes has (which was only in a CD player once so I could rip it to my computer). Tough choice...so I'm going to roll a D3. The outcome is 2. VT it is.

Unfortunately Netflix doesn't seem to have many quality comedies so I reluctantly chose this movie (which has an idiotic premise). Turns out it was actually really funny. Lots of jokes for both the uninitiated and the most religious Star Wars fans. I really liked it, as did my SO who has only ever watched episodes 4 and 5.

She looks hot. Like Catwoman, the hotness should hopefully distract from the rest of the film...or...it might actually be good! Hopefully it will be good, but we'll have to wait and see. For the moment it seems that DC had their bets hinged that Avengers wouldn't work and are now rushing to get a Justice League movie out before the majority of movie goers get completely tired of Superhero movies (which I expect will be a year or two after Avengers 2). Too long; didn't read version of the rant: I'm pretty sure this is a cash grab, but time will tell. Batman v Superman reminds me of Alien vs Predator and Freddy vs Jason...which I thought were both hilariously bad. It's true that Batman and Superman squared off in The Dark Knight returns (which seems to be where Snyder is getting the costumes from) but there was a ton of setup leading up to that. I don't think they can pull it off in a 2 hour movie and at the same time turn it into a Justice League prequel. It's too bad they can't just make a Dark Knight Returns live action adaptation and call it a day...but I digress. They seem to at least have the costumes right, so Snyder might be able to pull it off. He certainly did Watchmen quite accurately considering what he was given. Finally, I'm pretty sure nobody in the executive offices said the title of the movie aloud because it just sounds absurd. I'm pretty sure 10 year old me came up with that title and premise.

I'm actually quite okay with the batmobile. By the looks of it they're taking heavy inspiration from The Dark Knight Returns.

The more I hear about this movie the more I'm convinced that it's a bad idea. On the one hand, I'm glad they didn't get a supermodel who eats about as much as an African child but on the other hand it still would have been nice to get someone with SOME muscle mass.

I was wondering the same sort of thing when I saw the book being sold at the front desk of an airport gift shop, with it proudly labelled a "NY times best seller" Seems like a real grey area to me. http://www.reactiongifs.us/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/picard_clapping.gif To be honest I'm not surprised that something that portrays women as submissive and has the level of English you would expect from a 6th grade child is a New York Times bestseller. Yes...I read a chapter of that book. I was curious as to why every other person on the train was reading it.

Knowing Abrams, that big quote is probably right but Abrams is going to pass it off as the new generation X-Wings.
