I wouldn't go quite this far, but I see your point. Barring the two Di'Anno albums, Appetite is far superior to any full Maiden album that came thereafter. And I'm not really a GnR fan, though I am a Maiden one. -

I used to like SoT when he first started out but I find him almost unwatchable now. He began as a fan just talking about stuff he loves but has somehow morphed into a pontificating prat who thinks his every syllable is inviolate. Segue is right, he is an overweening bore.

This is a solid metal album. I've played it 3 times in a row today and it is very strong. I'm seeing them live next week and I hope they promote this album strongly. They should do, it's something to be proud of.
