Harrison Ford carried the movie on his 73 year old shoulders. "This is NOT how I thought my day was going to go…" Han Solo: What was your job when you were based here? Finn: Sanitation. Han Solo: Sanitation? Then how do you know how to disable the shields? Finn: I don't. I'm just here to get Rey. Han Solo: People are counting on us. The galaxy is counting on us. Finn: Solo, we'll figure it out. We'll use the Force. Han Solo: That's not how the Force works! Leia: You know, no matter how much we fought... I've always hated watching you leave. Han Solo: That's why I did it. So you'd miss me. And the best one: Rey: What are you gonna do? Han Solo: Same thing I always do. Talk my way out of it. [Chewie growls a comment] Han Solo: Yes, I do. EVERY TIME.

Your most fave DLR-era Van Halen album?
chemistry1973 replied to Texas King's topic in Music Of The Spheres
"Fair Warning" is right under "Hemispheres" for me. So yep, I get it. I heard a rumor that Michael Anthony was going to tour with Van Halen again. Along with Sammy and David. Shoot me now. I think that's going to happen. -
Dave Grohl, an overrated drummer?

http://youtu.be/MZqFT4sH8ac So, no, not overrated. -
I don't give a fudge what two Canadians and a rich prick in Los Angels thinks. An Obama third term is underserved. It's time for real economic growth not more butt hurt Identity Politics. Also time for a horribly insecure little man to demand the National Park Service recount how many people purportedly attended his inauguration and also to claim voter fraud to try to explain away the fact that he actually received fewer votes than the Snakewoman. (note that I do NOT like her either thus my name for her, his is Bozo The Clown..........absolutely without a doubt THE worst choice for Prez in my years of voting which dates back to 1972) I voted for Gary Johnson, unfortunately after his Aleppo moment he was TOST. Of the two remaining choices give anything other than a third Obama term but now Im repeating my self. CEO and union types are signaling approval thus far. "Tost" aside indeed. I was fired up on GJ initially, but he turned out to be QUITE the disappointment. I voted for him anyway. Ugh.

Fair Warning is perfect. -
Wow. Way to go! CP hasn't been this awkward and creepy in YEARS.

Her voice though. Yikes. I feel like she's yelling at me whenever a song of hers is on the radio. She is terrible.

Out of the Cradle first. How It Is last.

It's actually Obama/Boehner but please keep arguing.

In the sense that so many people are convinced Trevor Rabin is a better guitar player.

Solaris Blueraven, Neil Peart, Michael Mosbach And Mind Control ( WTF ? )
chemistry1973 replied to Lucas's topic in Rush
Some more detail in regards to Peart. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4NU0PrYA6U "There was a Fly By tagging at Night…" :laughing guy: -
Joshua Tree is a fantastic work. It's the best sounding record of the 80s. The production is perfect - credit Daniel Lanois, and to an extent, Brian Eno. This will be the most enjoyable U2 concert in 25 years. Here's hoping they play nothing they recorded after 1995.

That whole "What a show, What a show…" part was not on the tape! I was blown away when I heard it one drunken evening on the vinyl release, at a band friend's party.

Is Alex Lifeson in your top 3 personal fave rock guitarists?

Absolutely. -
Geddy: 'I Think I've Accepted That' RUSH Has Done Its Last Tour"
chemistry1973 replied to zappafrank's topic in Rush
The release of this documentary certainly raises the possibility of a Geddy/Alex collaboration. In fact, I believe that's what it's all about. Out with the old, in with the new. There is no other reason for this doc to exist - they are setting the stage for a different act. -
