  1. Really sad to hear this but not surprised. these guys have been going for close to 60 years and have lived interesting lives! I am a huge Charlie Watts fan. Steve Jordan is the natural replacement as he connects with keith and knows the songs
  2. There are very few albums that would beat Boston for a debut!
  3. People I know who have had cataract surgery done, can't believe the difference afterwards. Good luck Rhyta!
  4. I read a long article on this and it actually turns out much more positive than anyone remembers including Paul McCartney. Even the ex Beatles began to believe all of the stories of disfunction, but apparently there was much more levity during the process.
  5. Happy Anniversary! What took you so long to get here?? :D
  6. First off the picture has to be on the internet somewhere already. You can't just post picture you have saved on your computer. Next you have to go to where that picture is on the internet and copy the URL of the picture. Not the picture itself, but it's URL. Then, come back over to TRF, go to the thread you want to post it in, and when you go to make your post click on the little picture frame icon over the text box (it's between the chain icon and the < > icon, just below the smiley face and the orange A). You'll see a box pop up with a little text box in it where you can paste the URL you copied earlier, then hit OK. The picture should now appear in your post. You can preview it by hitting more reply options if you want to make sure it worked before you post it. Thanks; that's a very thorough explanation, and it highlights how unclear my first post was! I can do the copy and paste/URL thing for pictures, but what I should have said was "I don't have a way to put pictures I take or have on my computer on the internet"! Does storing things in Google Photos count? I used to be able to post when Photbucket allowed that. Then they went to a pay service and I said no. I have a ton of great photos of my Rush (mostly Neil) collection over the years.
  7. Interesting. I don't dispute that. I do know that the ones in the auction did go out of round and that is why they ended up with Lorne. Surprised that DW couldn't put together a set that sounded good.
  8. That is because insurance companies love taking your premiums but they hate paying out. And if they do, they just raise your premiums.
  9. The toms that were sold were "out of round" so maybe that is why they sounded like crap. they were replaced half way through the tour.
  10. I don't think the buyers cared what they sounded like - just who owned and used them.
