Haven't listened to anything but Rush since Wed. Looks like you have some nice M&G pics yourself! Yes i was lucky and incredibly greatful for them..Meeting Geddy and Alex was a great experience.

QUOTE (thizzellewashington @ Apr 4 2011, 04:17 PM) If anyone has that complete tourbooks collection that came out a few years ago, talk to me about it. I don't have much in the way of rare stuff, but I'd be willing to pay a reasonable price for a copy. i have one..the signed copy..PM me if interested.
  6. my problem is that they have a "blank spot" for UNIT on the billing and shipping information but that is not for apartment number? I just hope there isn't a screw up at will call on the day of the show.
  7. I have not received my tickets to the show in Nashville so I thought I would contact music today to see what's the "hold up". I first checked my billing information to make sure they were sent to my new address. there is a place for UNIT on the form. I thought that meant APARTMENT number. Apparently thats not the case..so they sent my tickets to my APARTMENT COMPLEX but not to my apartment. I know that I could have the tickets placed at will call, after explaining myself numerous times to Krystal (who kept telling me there isn't a unit block on the form) Damn!!!! I hate will call..makes me nervous and i love having my tickets in hand so that there is no mix up!
  8. getting nervous..nashville ticekts still NOT in my hands..Come on music today!!!!
  9. QUOTE (usb_connector @ Mar 4 2011, 02:21 PM) QUOTE (glennb2112 @ Mar 4 2011, 01:35 PM) JUST HAVE TO GET LUCKY..I'M DEFINATELY NOT "IN THE KNOW" The pics in your sig say otherwise. You know something that you managed to do right for 2 consecutive tours. I'd like to win a m&g with them, just so I can thank them for making epic music and to take a picture with them. i definately dont know anyone. i told my story on the MB on how i got lucky. I wish that others on the board would get the chance to meet them as well.

  11. There is an advantage of purchasing on the website. You dont have to worry about drinks getting spilled on it, the weather, losing it, bending, folding, rolling it.

i would be interested. i have alot of "stuff" i would like to sell/trade.
  14. yes unfortunatley they are fake. why dont you send a photo or album cover out during the tour and get another signed item? I have been burned in the past but now consider myself a so-called expert on their signatures. If you are unsure contact somene on the board. They would be more than willing to help.
  15. driving around 3 1/2 hours from Memphis to Nashville..sure beats the 7 to Atlanta or the 8 to Dallas..or the ...
  16. the only way to combat ticket brokers is to have paperless tickets. You purchase tickets as usual but on the day of the show you HAVE TO USE THE CREDIT CARD USED FOR THE PURCHASE to print the ticket at the venue. Only problem is if you are unable to attend the show you are SOL. Will call tickets also help. I know alot of artist are utilizing this for premium tickets. BTW I purchased the VIP package for nashville and they are will call only.
  17. i feel your pain..i guess. They havent come close to Memphis in over 15 years. St louis, Nashville, Atlanta are the "closest" cities they play.
  18. i have not received my tickets to the nashville show as of today. i have my fingers crossed.
  19. keep trying..i have heard of people getting great seats 30-45 minutes after the presale begins...i got 9th row for nashville 25 minutes after it started
  20. i have a mint framed copy of counterparts..signed by geddy and alex!! if anyone is interested PM me and we can talk. check myspace page..i know, know, never deleted it. i have my rush collection on it.
  21. ahhh..nothing like driving 3 + hrs to see them again...how about a date close to memphis?
  22. some tickets are will call only..you might want to check your receipt.
  23. I grew up in chicago and love the city. Remember to dress warm..it is known to snow in april..no joke. I would try and catch a cubs game or head to the lakefront, Michigan Ave area and take in the sights. A pizza at Uno's or Geno's East is also recommended. As for the venue, i believe its about 5 feet from the stage to rail. The venue isn't in the best part of town and the sound quality is above avarage. Enjoy the show! just checked the cubs schedule and they are out of town..
