  1. Hello all! I have one ticket for sale to the London O2 show on 24 May. It's in Block B3, Row M - I had a seat in this very row for the show in 2011 and was very happy with it. I'm selling it because I got a slightly better seat in a different presale the day after I bought this one! I am of course asking for only what I paid, which is £85.80 total, including the ticket price, booking fee and handling fee. Private message me if you're interested!
  2. Is everyone who bought tickets for the London O2 show with Ticketline (during the pre-sale) still waiting for their tickets? Their website says it will come at least 5 days before the show, and my order tracking page says the tickets are not ready yet. I have e-mailed them twice in the past two months to see if they can give me a better idea of when it will come (...as I trying to sell it!) but they never reply. The ticket I bought through the O2/Ticketmaster pre-sale was with me about a week or two after I bought it - a full year before the concert!
  3. QUOTE (glennb2112 @ May 29 2011, 08:36 AM) glad you had a great time.. Thanks - I'm kinda still on a high about it. Haven't listened to anything but Rush since Wed. Looks like you have some nice M&G pics yourself!
  4. QUOTE (willowroolz @ May 26 2011, 08:55 AM) This isn't aimed at anyone here (I see some have posted photos!), but I get the feeling a lot of people are too busy looking at their camera/mobile phone screens to actually get involved. I know a guy who was in the front row last night and I looked over at him a couple of times and there he was, staring at his camera whilst Geddy worked his ass off in front of him. How can anyone really enjoy a gig like that? I mean, seriously, if I wanted to see the guys on screen I'd just stay at home and watch a dvd But I get what people are saying - the two London shows on the last tour were awful for crowd reaction/atmosphere, and I can recall back as far as the Signals tour in 83 at Wembley being much the same. I count myself lucky to have seen the band oop north and on foreign shores, where the atmosphere has been electric and I was worried about that aspect last night. Fortunately, I count myself lucky to have been among a bunch of people who wanted to stand up and enjoy themselves - and we did! Edit: and crikey, I'm glad to be off 666 posts! I hope I wasn't one of those annoying people with a camera. I was in B3 on the floor but being a kinda-short female I barely saw anything all night and have a sore neck and back today from standing on my tippy-toes trying to see the stage all night! I took maybe a dozen 15-30 second video clips during the most awesome parts of the show, simply so I could actually SEE what was going on on my screen, as I could hold the camera at an angle that would get all the action in. I wish the screens showed more of what was going on onstage, rather than bouncy ducks or whatever. But I know what you mean about people and their cams... people are the same at the museums I have worked at... obsessed with taking pics of everything they see but never actually looking at what is right in front of them! Why would they rather see it (an artifact, Rush, whatever!) on a screen or at home when it was RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF THEM?! I didn't notice ANY of the people in my eyeline rocking out, but the guys behind me yelling out "Geddy Leeeeeeee" several times after every song... It was my first show AND I got to get a pic with Geddy and Alex before the show. I really hope it's not my last show!
  5. QUOTE (Shirley @ May 26 2011, 12:05 PM) OI!!!! (Unrelated but didn't warrent it's own thread...Tour related though) I bought a ladies T last night! I've just realised I can see my f*ckin bra through it... so was this what the merch guys thought we'd want? See through Ts? Urgh, the ladies' selection SUCKS. Didn't check out the merchandise stand last night as I assumed it would be all the same as is on the website. I have a Snakes and Arrows tour tee I got on clearance for $9.99 CAD on the website but it is made of a horrible clingy fabric, AND despite being black is kinda see-through! The ladies' selection on the merch website is basically two tees and a thong... was it the same at the merch stand?
  6. QUOTE (sanzo @ May 25 2011, 05:11 PM) So you actually did pay the money for the meet n greet then, well thats cool of you was it a forum member you bought it off,was their name on the badge? how did the whole thing go then I won mine through the contest on the merch website (so the ticket was provided by Showtech). The M&G went very quickly but Getty and Alex were very friendly and told me to enjoy the show. And the pics turned out GREAT! And the show was
  7. QUOTE (Marillion @ May 24 2011, 04:36 PM) What time is this meet & greet? Can any fan get to meet the band? I'm not sure how people get passes... I won my mine.
  8. QUOTE (sanzo @ May 24 2011, 04:09 PM) You can always send somthing to the arena to get signed, but obviously its a bit late now for London I was talking to some folks that had been to the meet an greet in Manchester and he said the security guys were very stern in warning them about even taking pens into the meet and greet its just a quick photo then out, although to his amazement Alex knew this guy by name and then chatted for a minute or 2 Thanks for the reply! I was told I can't even take my camera in (as the band's personnel will take a pic for me and post on the website)... but I wanna take my camera to the show so I guess I will have to hide it in my bag!
  9. I was just curious to see if anyone had experiences to share about getting things signed at these meet and greets... of course I am grateful just to meet them!
  10. Hey guys... So tomorrow night will be my first ever Rush concert! I am obviously super-excited, especially since I won a pass for the meet and greet before the show! However, I was disappointed to find out that NO AUTOGRAPHS will be allowed - only a photo. That sucks! I'd much rather have a autograph over a photo! Are they pretty strict about this? Should I bring my LP anyway? Thaaaaaaaanks!
  11. QUOTE (hughes&kettner @ Nov 23 2010, 12:18 PM)QUOTE (That One Guy @ Nov 19 2010, 01:13 AM) AND more North American dates are confirmed! I'm gonna hit bare minimum two shows this time! where is the info on more n. america dates? is this for sure?? From Rush.com: "Also confirmed today, the Time Machine tour will return to North America for a selection of dates between March and July, primarily with Rush performing in markets not played on the previous tour run this summer." I'll only be in Canada for the first 4 days of March.
