Why was the longest book made into the shortest movie? Too much of the movie skimmed over the important parts of the book rather than dwelling on and developing them. Kreacher felt like a tacked on bit instead of a rather crucial plot point. Occlumency was changed from the book's presentation, but still acted well by Rickman. Dumbledore was a bigger jerk than ever, instead of the kindly figure of the book. Yates could have taken the parts he skimmed over and really knocked them out of the park. Instead, the movie fouled out too many times. What was done right was done pretty well though. The meetings of Dumbledore's army were great viewing. More great Ron and Hermione clues (for the movie fans, of course), Dolores Umbridge acted to perfection, the battle inside the Ministry and Luna Lovegood were all great. I give this movie 6 on 10.

Which movies that are at least three hours in length (give or take ten minutes) are not painful to sit through? Which ones are so good that three hours is hardly noticeable? Discuss! I would initially nominate the first two Godfather movies, but I don't know their exact running time. The first one may be just under three, but I'm sure the second is at least 3.5 hours.

I don't know about the rest of those shows they mentioned, but Goof Troop was cool. Captain Planet also had some decent moments. Reboot and Pinky and the Brain, of course, easily beat out the rest of the shows they mention.

I bought the album a few days ago and have only listened to it once all the way through. It isn't a BAD album. The songs they perform aren't poorly arranged or poorly played. But there's nothing on the album (so far) that really HITS me in the face with how awesome it is. The whole thing is rather mellow for LP's normal standards, which isn't a bad thing by itself. Mellow music can be good, but LP's version of mellow is really hit and miss. I'll come up with a more intelligent review when I listen to it some more.

I thought Carnage was a separate being from Eddie Brock/Venom, due to one piece of that symbiotic thing entering a lunatic asylum? Can we get the comic book fans in here to clear this up?

I don't think they should make any more spidey movies. Three is enough.

I thought Emo Spidey was pretty funny myself I liked it, though the "villain overload" was too much at times. They could have just focused on Venom and Harry Osborn and made a bigger impact.

Which albums of high and excellent musical quality were also the unfortunate owners of really BAD cover art? Is there an album you'll just never forget except the album art which you suppress like a bad childhood memory? Or are the best sounding albums also the best looking? Discuss!

Heavy Metal no plot horrible animation even for the 1980s no character development WAY overhyped Just a horrible movie. I can't even believe that ANYBODY could recommend it.
