  1. 2112 was nice but Natural Science was the highlight for me. Used to joke that I left my bottom jaw in Albany that night.
  2. I didn't get A Show Of Hands on vinyl until few years after it came out when I decided I should probably have all of the vinyl too. I think I'm still missing a Canadian vinyl copy of that. I'm thinking those reissues on CD came out the summer before Hold Your Fire because I bought both the vinyl and CD the day Hold Your Fire came out and I'm pretty sure I had all of the studio albums on CD at that point.
  3. Cool pics. I'm just missing the 2112 and the UK versions of A Farewell To Kings and Hemispheres programs. May have an extra Hold Your Fire program. Would have to check.
  4. Are there any good Max boots around? I mean Live Magnetic Air is okay, but I just have this feeling they are better than that.
  5. The first NEW one was Power Windows. (At least in the US) A friend of mine bought it because he had a CD player. Moving Pictures, Signals and Grace Under Pressure were out before that (He had those too), but I'm unsure as to the order they came out. I bought my first CD player SPECIFICALLY because Rush through Permanent Waves were finally being issued on CD. In fact, I bought Hemispheres and Permanent Waves about a month before I bought my CD player so I would make sure they I had them ( CDs were still pretty limited then.) How nutty is that? Moving Pictures, Signals and Grace Under Pressure were already available on CD which is why they weren't issued with he others. All The World's A Stage and Exit...Stage Left were both issued about six months later, but they were each missing a track because CDs only held abut 74 minutes then instead of 80. Those two missing live tracks would later be released on CD as part of the Chronicles collection.
  6. Moving Pictures. I believe the first one to be released new with the record and cassette was Power Windows.
  7. Like them a lot. Have about a half-dozen Max albums and maybe three or four Kim albums. I'd almost believe Les Claypool listened to these guys as a kid.
  8. Sounds like you need to find a copy of the Contents Under Pressure book. The entre premise is the band reflecting on their discography in hindsight through R30.
  9. I'd guess a little more than what you paid for them. They seem to be pretty hard to find these days. I would imagine the on that's still sealed might go for even more. I have two those myself. I'm missing The Weapon with the Count Floyd intro/Digital Man.
  10. Which posters/press kits/newsletters do you have? Is each numbered clip on a seperate video?
  11. I'm listening to the Sector 3 Marathon right now and you are all kinds of right in your assessment. Geddy's bass is borderline funny on the 90s remasters compared to this. The Sector sets are not the best thing in the world when compared to vinyl, but nothing really is among the TOO MANY remasters and re-releases of the catalog, but for digital versions the Sector sets are the ones I go to. I have the HDtracks so that may make a difference. For easy and quick listening on the computer or in the car and on my phone those versions rule. I've said it before and I'll say it again, nothing beats the MFSL version of Permanent Waves. The vinyl is damn good, but that disc is so good it makes dogs cry. I thought the 90s remasters sounded great at the time. They were loud and clear and the sound was all at about the same level. This was after years of listening on cassette so the clarity and lack of hiss was very welcome, but after the Sector sets came out those might as well be coasters. I easily prefer the Sectors discounting vinyl and the Mobile Fidelity and Audio Fidelity releases. However, I really can't tell if the Mobile Fidelity Permanent Waves is a favorite. There's something about it. I'm not sure if it's too bright or the mid range is too muddy. It doesn't sound as warm to me as the other Mobile Fidelity releases and I'm not sure if the original masters were used in this case.
  12. That recording of Red Sector A is taken from the Grace Under Pressure concert that was released on video/CD/DVD. It was unreleased when it was first issued. The only B-side that remains unreleased currently (other than the first Moon single) is Vital Signs (live) which is the B-side to the New World Man 45.
  13. Somewhat of a history lesson for those that don't know... (Some information (Rutsey) is obviously quite dated)
  14. At least four that are accounted for: Working Man Need Some Love Best I Can And the mystery song We can all hope so. I'm anxious for it! Count me among the hopeful.....
  15. I wasn't there. Can't say this is a DVD that I watch a lot, but it's pretty cool when I do put it in. Mostly for Paint It Black....
  16. Wouldn't surprise me if this is your most popular podcast. Thanks for posting it. Totally worth listening to I love how you just let her talk and let her invaluable insight and experiences shine through.
  17. The only thing wrong with Snakes and Arrows is that Clockwork Angels came after it.
  18. Another great opportunity here. First single on CD (Which I have a few times over on bootlegs, but it would be nice to get something official) Agora show (which I have on several bootlegs, but not the ABC 1974 for the simple reason that some believe it's MP3 sourced) DVD of the whole Laura Secord show, DVD of the three Don Kirschner songs Any other live stuff that may be sitting in the vault that we don't know about. "Vault edition" of Working Man with alternate solo.
  19. I suppose it's possible we may even have this poster if we knew what it looked like.
  20. Except for the Rush in Rio CD, that would be my answer. Everything else is great.
  21. Not sure. More research needed.
