Rush R40 LA Forum Poster - Signed Artist Proof Backstage
edhunter replied to robertrobyn's topic in Rush
Ha...I was just staring at my autographed albums last night. The little things in life that make us happy. :) I'd enjoy having something signed by all of them. But I guess I missed my window on that. (I suppose it's not impossible to acquire something like that, but it might cost a small fortune at this point). Well, if anybody would like to go see them on April 15th, 1981, I have an extra. :P I may just take you up on that. I have access to the actual DeLorean from Back To The Future... -

If you buy it for $40, I'll give you $600 for it. Final offer. -
It's a combination of taking better care of himself and keeping his hair long. Psychologically it just makes you think of him as younger. When you see him up close, his face is every bit his age.

Joey Ramone Bon Scott Taylor Swift My 10-yr old If you've put a pen to paper, add yourself here. Neil is a horrid lyricist. Rush is absolutely the only band in the world that would ever accept "Atmospheric changes make them sensitive again" "In a dog's........." "I'd rather be a tortoise from Galapagos" "It was long after midnight when we got to unconditional love " "We carry a sensitive cargo below the waterline" Notice I'm not including the early stuff. I gave him a few years to grow into it and it got worse, not better.

Ole Acquires Anthem Entertainment Group, Home of Rush

Ray cashed out. Get ready for more rounds of repackaged remastered re-releases. That's exactly what I thought. This could only be "good" news if they decide to go back and release live music from over the years. .....or if/when they go back in the studio to make new music. A lot of you seem to be missing this..... It's not that we're missing it. But they wouldn't spend that kind of $$ on the distribution rights to the entire cataloguejust for the possibility of a future recording. They've got re-release plans.... -
Will someone please explain why that's supposed to be worth $500??? I honestly wouldn't pay more than $5.

Like the Bangles? (in reference to both) And if memory is correct sinead oo'commor? I remember when she had a sort of career, lol Mick And when it ended... http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mbcdiuLH8u1qe0nn1o1_1280.jpg and every asshole in the nation slammed shut, lol I remember that. Mick As soon as I saw that image posted here, I wondered to myself- if that were done today, would it even make the news? Perhaps the entertainment rags- E Online, and all that rot... It would make the news, but it would be celebrated, not condemned. It's not a good time to be a religious person these days.

Purchased is a dirty word when it comes to boots. I haven't traded in years, but I know there are sites out there that with a little work, you can download them for free. I think one site was called dimeadozen.com, and I forgot what the other one was. I never used dime. -

Well, at this stage of their career, there's not as much need for a manager. Once the Beatles quit touring Brian Epstien had no purpose. I'm guessing any possibility of a future studio album has already been negotiated and included. It's possible Ray has left himself a position to handle any future live appearances, and then figured he'd leave the day-to-day crap to someone else. -

They'll put a freeze on all current and future Rush royalty payments and force that selfish prick to tour Europe. -

I tell ya though, nothing beats the sound quality of a convenience store's ceiling speakers.

They must have a Sirius subscription or something. Is it playing right now there? Losing It was starting as I left, so I guess they're just running the whole thing right now.

Stopped off at a gas station in Rutland, MA to grab a Mountain Dew and a bagel, and R40 is currently playing through their system. RTB followed by Between the Wheels. How the hell is that happening?

I haven't listened to bootlegs in forever because my phone capacity made me dump them. But isn't Black Forest from that tour a little better? My version of A Desert Passage cuts out a few times from a SB mix to what seems like a single mike in the back of the arena. -
And while it's not exactly a celebrity, one of my customers owns one of the 3 surviving DeLorean Time Machines from the Back to the Future trilogy. It was the one on the Jimmy Kimmel show a few weeks ago.

As far as musicians go, there's Geddy in '97, Victor Wooten and Bela Fleck (many times) and then we opened for a bunch of groups. Bad Company, 38 Special, Carlos Santana, BTO, Peter Frampton, Steppenwolf, Stephen Stills and a few more. Oh. And Charles Barkley (douchebag-the same day I met Geddy.)
