Caught up with an old friend today. We commiserated about aging, ignorant people and needy relatives. It's sad but America is changing so rapidly & the average working person is so spread thin most of us have to distance ourselves from getting overwhelmed by that. We do what we can. IMO we can't wait for a superhero to show up and save us. We have to save us. The state of America- a damsel in distress that needs saving.....

Yesterday I found a couple birds that died (apparently from hitting passing vehicles.) I removed them from the roadway & put them somewhere where their little bird bodies will be returned to the Earth. When I can afford to, I'll be donating time and energy to conservation again.

FWIW I think Wisco is better than that but that is a funny observation.

In this wild journey of purchasing a new phone, I learned most people don't want flip phones anymore b/c GPS + other handy features of a Smartphone are so in demand. Also- selling phones to people is a great job if you excel at retail sales. I mean America is full of tweenagers with Smartphones now.

I'm sad there are no pickles in the house......

I woke up to rain. Which is great, I don't have to spend time watering the garden. Thank you Mother Nature!!!

As an older person I get sad when I think about how Smartphones have allowed technology to intrude into every aspect of daily life. Just saying. On a positive note my current phone has lasted wayyy longer than I expected.

I had the weirdest but happy dream about Geddy Lee. I'm laughing now b/c that was my brain trying to keep me on track this year. Rush fanship pays in dividends!!!!!

I'm glad you posted this b/c I have something relevant to share. Years ago (before drug testing was a thing) my neighbor's co-workers spiked her coffee with meth as a joke. I was appalled because people with cardiac issues like heart murmurs can suffer tremendously from something like that. (I avoided coke/powder drugs in my party years as I was terrified of an OD.) The coke might have been planted, or yeah, someone got sloppy and made a mess. We'll obviously never know.

I'm considering both....
