Such a strange world we live in now: -Paying for everything with plastic because no one wants to accept cash anymore. -Husbands and wives sleeping in separate rooms. -Family members living on different floors of the same house -People wishing their elderly relatives Happy Birthday through a window -Ordering takeout from the restaurants you used to hang out in -Musicians and fitness instructors streaming their talents -Doctors doing virtual patient visits -All the stores at the mall closed except the supermarket and the drugstore -People literally going out of their way to avoid other people -You can't even go to church to pray about it because they're all closed. -No schools, no day cares, no gyms, no normalcy whatsoever. -Wondering what your work situation is going to be like from one day to the next if you still have a job.

You picked a fine time to leave us, Kenny.

Yep! Very true. Happy March Covid-19th! My Whole Paycheck, I mean Whole Foods is fully stocked again minus the fresh hot and cold food sections but you can still get a fresh roasting chicken. Things are going to get worse but it will get a lot better!! Hopefully by Halloween. Could you imagine if they cancel Halloween this year???? Reminds me of one of my favorite films on the Earth. Most people hate it! "HALLOWEEN III: SEASON OF THE WITCH" There will ALWAYS, ALWAYS be a Halloween. Yes! "Everyday is Halloween" "This Is Halloween!" Love, Jack Skellington You have to laugh, play internet games, make up band names and playlists. That's not taking COVID lightly. It's how you cope.

Spring Breakers. It was just awful-- 90 minutes of my life that I'll never get back.

There might be no more basketball, hockey or baseball this year. We have a new sport called COVID-19. It's a life and death sort of game. Medical statisticians from all over the world are tracking the numbers every day. It's the lowest score that wins, not the highest. We probably won't have the results of the final COVID round until the end of April or the beginning of May if we're lucky. But we will get through this because we're awesome. Then there will be no more panic at the disco or the grocery store. A victory over COVID will be a victory for the whole planet. We're all in this together.

http://www.therushfo...e/#entry4741104 On the upside, COVID-19 gives people a licence to be antisocial without feeling guilty about it. I have never really been an outgoing person. I have always avoided crowds even before the pandemic. I've been practicing social distancing since college. I don't hug people who aren't relatives.

I watched The Cable Guy. I actually felt sorry for Chip. He was just a lonely guy who wanted a friend but didn't know how to make one because of his social awkwardness. I'm sure there are a lot of people who can identify with him whether they're willing to admit it or not. "Some has to kill the babysitter" refers to the fact that people rely on tv and computers to look after their kids because they're too busy or they're not able to do the job themselves.

I watched The Boy and its sequel, Brahms: The Boy.

I never would've guessed that Billie Eilish had Tourettes. She controls it really well. I thought her cover of Yesterday was ok.

I've always liked the Limelight lyrics best.

I think the reason it's so hard to deal with is because none of us had any idea that he was ill until after he passed because of all the secrecy in the inner circle. There were several other musicians who died in recent years who were publicly battling illnesses for years so it wasn't a big surprise when they died--- people like Marie Frederiksson and Ronnie James Dio.

I saw Jojo Rabbit the other day. I actually liked it better than Marriage Story. The ending was kinda sad. I found out that Scarlett Johansson has been smoking since she was 15. That's why she has such a deep, husky voice. She also hates being called Scar Jo by bloggers. She said it sounds lazy, flippant and violent. I thought it made her sound like a hip hop act.

It looks like KvK for hipsters. Saw the original on Showtime a year ago and I gotta say it’s not deserving of BP. Apocalypse Now was way better. Also, TWO acting nods for most overrated actress alive this year? Please. Exactly. :)

I found this at another website. Neil Peart's 10 Rules for Success 1) Earn your audience. 2) Be restless. Find a way not to be bored. READ. 3) Get out of your comfort zone. 4) Learn from others. 5) Create what you like. 6) Infect people with your fire. Inspire others. 7) Don't read reviews. 8) Create your ideal (imaginary) audience. 9) Find your inspiration. 10) Never stop experimenting.

Grammys - will they mention anything about Neil Pearts death?
Krystal replied to GodandTime's topic in NEIL PEART - 1952-2020
I doubt they will mention Neil at the Grammys. They will probably show his face for 2 seconds when they do their In Memoriam spiel and that's about it. It is the Grammys after all. They never cared about Neil or any of the other members of Rush while they were all alive. Why would they give a crap now? I don't really care about the Grammys anymore. This is the same group of idiots who nominated Lizzo for an award and never handed out a trophy to Queen, The Who or Jimi Hendrix. They're a JOKE!! -
The Bee Gees - From Pop to Psych to Prog to Disco.
Krystal replied to Hatchetaxe&saw's topic in Music Of The Spheres
The producer of Bohemian Rhapsody is working on a Bee Gees biopic. Isn't that exciting? Can't wait!! https://deadline.com/2019/10/bee-gees-movie-biopic-paramount-sister-graham-king-stacey-snider-barry-gibb-maurice-gibb-robin-gibb-saturday-night-fever-1202773513/
