  • Favorite Rush Song
    La Villa Strangiato (for now)
  • Favorite Rush Album
    Permanent Waves
  • Best Rush Experience
Seeing them live for the first time in 2007. It was surreal, and is still the best concert I've ever been to. But any single time I got to watch them jam with each other and watch the fun those three men truly have. They made the music for us, but also for themselves.
  • Other Favorite Bands
Led Zeppelin, TOOL, Metallica, Queens of the Stone Age, Dream Theater, and so many more.
  1. Just another reason to love this dude!
  2. Few headlines have EVER left me as stunned and numb as when I read about Neil that day at work. I still remember every small detail of how i felt, and my surroundings. f**k CANCER!
  3. - Either you love it or you hate it - Caress of Steel - Greatest album of all time - Permanent Waves - Overlooked masterpiece - Grace Under Pressure - Mental breakdown - "Dog Years" WOOF! (pun intended) - The one everyone forgets about - Presto - Which divides the fandom - Caress of Steel - Fan favourite - 2112 - Locals favourite - Moving Pictures (Not 100% what this category means, but I went with their most popular album. I also think It's their most accessible album.
  4. This was not an easy one. But "The Camera Eye" just has this feel to it. There's an aura to the song well before Geddy even sings his first verse. The true 'deep cut" from their most successful and beloved album.
  5. Seeing as LVS is my favorite Rush song ever, this pleases me!
  6. The Body Electric 1-0-0-1-0-0
  7. I guess I would say Permanent Waves is my main obession with this band. But I could name about 5-6 other albums I often go back to the most.
  8. I was just there about 5-6 weeks ago. I took all the Rush pics too. Thanks for uploading this. I didn't see the setlist one when I was there. It was cool to see that.
  9. I think Presto is underrated. It's far from a "classic" but there's some strong, dark, and brooding stuff I really like on the album. I also think that "Signals" gets a bad wrap because of the BEAST it followed up. That's another album I love a lot.
  10. I've been on a graphic novel kick. Been getting deeper into Craig Thompson's work, and i'm really liking it.
  11. For me, it's all going to depend on how they tell Freddie's story, and how honest and real it feels. I don't want a fluff piece. I want to see the real story of a music icon. I'll likely check it out, but I have realistic expectations.
  12. Only a few. Or as i call it "NOT NEARLY ENOUGH." But when you're my age, you wish you could have seen a lot more bands. I'm just happy i got to see them. I just wish I had been born much earlier in their career.
  13. I can't get enough of "Circumstances" lately. And it's been in my head for a solid 3 days or so now.
