  1. Tangled up in blue Like a Rolling Stone Up to Me Every Grain of Sand Idiot Wind
  2. It is a shame that Hunter isn’t as well known as Dylan as a lyricist. Wish I had the money to get all the post Grateful Dead projects he has contributed to, he has been pretty productive.
  3. And sometimes songwriters are honest: And we got no class And we got no principal and we got no innocence We can't even think of a word that rhymes --School's Out I have always been partial to: You told your momma I'd get you home, But you didn't say I had no car, I saw a lion he was standing alone with a tadpole in a jar.
  4. I have my Steel Wheels ticket stub, it was in the $30 range. Of course,it was also at the far end of RFK Stadium. Most I had ever paid for a ticket up to that point though.
  5. Weird. I thought it was the Eagles reuniting in 1994 that started this.
  6. Did I miss scenes in the video with Charlie Watts? Ringo? Hart/Kreutzman? Trucks/Johnson?
  7. You forgot Black Sabbath. And Lynyrd Skynyrd. And pretty much every southern rock band ever.
  8. That is not a new rule; I think a huge travesty is that Bob Welch was not put in with Fleetwood Mac. Wrote some great songs for them, and was clearly the bridge between blues FM and Buckingham-Nicks era FM.
  9. Since Peart is the lyricist, the songs since then definitely would not have been written. Unless, of course, they brought Peart in only as lyricist who then did not have to go out on the road...... But his drumming is obviously a major part of their sound, and has affected the way the other two play.
  10. Are they filming any other shows? If not, could already be working on post production, and any other miscellaneous scenes. Grateful Dead shows from earlier this month will be out in November, in time for Christmas shopping. (Sorry, I know I shouldn't make any comparisons to those two bands here...).
  11. Lots of early (including pre-Howe) Yes and Genesis at the Bristow show.
  12. Speaking of Bristow... Met a family there from Asheville, NC, they bought tix thinking show was in Bristol Va. Upon discovering their error, they simply decided to...drive a lot further to see Rush. Luckily discovered their error before the day of the show.
  13. This. I'm not from Virginia but was in the area so went and although not terrible by any means considering the reviews (i only waited an hour to get out which I had no major problem with, acoustics weren't terrible also) but Verizon seemed like the perfect spot to do this considering this has also been a majority arena show. A lot of bands seem to love this venue because they go here constantly. The only thing I can think of for Verizon was since the Capitals/Wizards were both in playoffs and had a shot to make it deep, certain dates may have been booked off. In the end of course it didn't matter I'd imagine Verizon has been empty for weeks now.
