  1. Boy, I am late here and I apologize! Happy, happy belated birthday Derek! I hope that it was wonderful for you! Hope the holiday season is going well for you!
  2. Shoot, RIP, Denny. A friend just attended a benefit for him in LA last week; that was the first time I had heard he was ill. I was just listening to "Go Now" by the Moody Blues the other day; he is the singer on that one. What a sad loss.
  3. Awww, RIP. I always liked his voice. People of our general age got to hear so much good rock, but now it seems like we are seeing a lot of it pass away as well. Wrap Geddy and Alex and Paul McCartney in bubble wrap! Keith Richards, too!
  4. Darn, I wish I had seen this earlier! I would have sent you mine! I enjoyed it a great deal, but I probably won't be reading it repeatedly. I hope you like it!
  5. You have my sympathy! Mrazek had a better October!
  6. Congrats, Pens! 4-2 over the Lightning and Tristan Jarry scores the first goal by a goalie in Pens history.
  7. Congratulations on retirement! This is helpful to read; I have seen good reviews of I drive. I knew I would get some good feedback from TRF!
  8. Thank you for the organizational plan! I have considered something like this as well. I like the different levels dependent on how frequently you work with them. Padded case for your drives, ready to go, is impressive!
  9. Ha! I took this seriously at the beginning and thought "I'll have to look these up, I haven't heard of them!"
  10. I would be interested in what has worked for others here. I have been digitizing/having digitized tons of stuff since selling my mom's house this fall- old movies, photos, etc. I know it's going to cost something, but am more interested in what works well when you want to get stuff back out, and who is reputable. Not real interested in Microsoft One Drive since I have had trouble with it in the past. Thanks in advance!
  11. I don't like Alabama, but wow, Auburn blew the end of the game big time.
  12. Yes, private eyes, they're watching you . . private eyeees . . ..
  13. Daryl, smile . . . Oh,, won't you smile awhile for me, Daryl .. . . I dunno, I got nuthin'!
  14. Thanksgiving madness! Getting ready to have all of the family here, it will be nice if we can survive the prep! I asked my husband to wipe off the table to get it ready for the tablecloth. Next thing I see is him using the Dustbuster hand vac on the tabletop! A new technique! Seemed to work well but looked pretty funny.
  15. Seriously thinking about Philadelphia, just to see Keef. (Still haven't quite forgiven a friend for getting married 18 years ago when they were in a stadium closer to us, a good place to see a show!).
  16. My husband's friends used to buy this in the 80's in the grocery store. It was really a thing for awhile. It was about as good as you can imagine! After awhile, they would say, "We'll bring beer!" and it was like, no, we got it. It didn't taste horrible, it just didn't really taste like anything! And I think it was 3.2 beer, Colorado grocery stores at the time. All you can say is that it was cheap. I'm also not real big on very hoppy brews, but that's just me.
  17. RIP, Mr. Squire! Yes, that fight brought NASCAR into the homes of many for the first time!
  18. Ohh, I'm so sorry to hear that! Hugs to you and your family. Yes, as adult I worked in the public library for a long time, but a high school friend was more interested in science and got a PhD in microbiology and ended up working in immunology at the US National Institutes of Health. Her updates and communications throughout the pandemic have been helpful to me. She's one of those people that's very good at putting technical science into regular people terms. Yes, I agree, neither EC or the football player Aaron Rodgers is a public health expert so I'm not real excited to hear them on that subject. (I put up a merch photo in the evening with Geddy thread, hope you get something fun!)
  19. Everyone has individual reactions to the vaccines. Ask me how I know. I can't agree with every statement you've made. Clapton was a heavy drug and alcohol user for over 20 years and the changes this caused in his individual immune system are difficult to separate from a reaction to the vaccine. The liver is a huge, front line immune organ. Indeed, the drug and alcohol immune system effects may have been there for years and triggered by the vaccine for some reason. He wasn't 100 percent guaranteed the shots are safe, they don't say that to anyone. He, or his medical advisor, didn't read the fine print. He can blame the vaccine all he wants, and what he went through is horrible; I wouldn't wish it on anyone. However, there's probably not a huge cohort of aging world's top guitar players that were heavy substance abusers for 20+ years, sober for 33 years, that got that batch of Astra Zeneca vaccine at the same time, so we don't really have a comparison group. He has too much going on with his body to 100 percent blame the vaccine. We'll never know.
  20. Here's a photo someone posted of the New York march available- not sure how it translates to your prices, but $90.00 for a hoodie is insane, 40.00 for a hat is pricey as well. The rest kind of look like standard concert prices. Maybe there will be bootlegs in the parking lot!
  21. Friends at the Nrw York show said he only answered about 5 or 6 questions, so I'm thinking no, in person anyway. Not sure if he might address them some other place sometime, like an ask me anything?
  22. That would bother me too, I guess the people are just excited to have a connection with Rush in person again? But, yeah, I would be thinking settle down! I didn't have to make the decision this time since am currently too busy to go and also got to see him at a BBBB event, thankfully.
  23. Happy, happy birthday, Principled Man! Cheers to one of the great guys on the Rush Forum! I hope it's a great day and a great weekend for you! Time for the Packers to break out a big win against those pesky Chargers! Cheers!
