I know I'm being harsh, but you sort of made a promise. You probably should find someone to take your place or stick with your promise. I did make a promise, but at the time I didn't know that this class would have such a bad effect on my mental health. I am not going to stay in this class when all it does is make me cry and feel like utter shit, I cannot take it anymore. There probably isn't even going to be a school newspaper next semester because so many other people are leaving, and quite frankly I don't give a flying f**k. Are you and everyone else having the same problems with this class? Yes, actually. Almost everyone in this class is way too stressed. I'm not sure how severe it is for the others though.

I told my newspaper teacher that I'm leaving the class next semester. She told me that it's my responsibility to find someone in the class to replace me. She also told me that i signed a paper in the beginning of the year saying that i would be in this class the entire year (yeah im sorry i didnt know then how badly this class would effect my mental health, damn). I only told her that I'm leaving because of stress and anxiety because I wasn't comfortable enough to go into detail about how the class has effected me. She probably has the impression that I'm leaving just because its a hard class and I don't like putting my time into it. i mean, it really is a hard class but there's a lot more to it. I didn't name any names, but I told her that other people in the class were leaving next semester as well. She started to say something but then stopped and said "Merry Christmas, Jamie." in the post passive aggressive tone I've ever heard. So yeah, my mom is pretty pissed at how she treated me and the fact that she was trying to make me feel guilty about leaving. My mom is gonna email her and go into more detail as to why I'm leaving. Maybe then my teacher will be the least bit understanding.

i finished my newspaper page and i was able to switch out of newspaper next semester. i hate to leave the rest of the staff, but that class is too damn stressful.
