  1. When I think "full show" and Greensboro, I think of the remarkable crowd. The place was packed and we rocked the house right along with the boys.
  2. Stand by TRF members and Rush fans world wide. One of our esteemed mebers is working on something right now, as we speak. It will be from the greensboro show.
  3. So that would mean "B" set list for us at Greensboro?
  4. We bought tee's off Backstage and they were $24.99. R-40 tee's.
  5. It should say so on the tickets. I'm pretty sure ours said no cameras?
  6. Hope this is the right place to ask, if its required to use a hosting site to upload a picture? Can I upload the picture to post from my PC? Thanks John
  7. I hope you can get it sold before the show. If I was going by myself, you would have a buyer!
  8. Is this show close to a sellout yet? I am hoping. If I can upgrade (get closer to the stage), I will and hope to sell the tickets I already have.
  9. How would you guys rate his voice between S&A and R-40? I thought he sounded excellent on S&A.
  10. Hope we get "C" in Greensboro! Natural Science baby!

    R40 Merch Question

Maybe this is why the shirts we got were not as expected. We paid $24.99 for the R-40 tee shirt from the backstage Club.
  12. No. I do know that wool is your friend if you wear suits in the summer time though.
  13. Whats "summer weight"? Are you saying they make tee shirts for winter and for summer? And if they do, why would it not be labeled accordingly and conveyed to the buyer? Like say "summer tee shirts"? Or "winter tee shirts"? Thinner weight material. I get that, I bought them. My question is what is a summer tee. Is it the polar opposite of a winter tee? I have never heard the term "summer tee" nor have a ever seen a shirt labeled summer or winter. In my experience, a tee shirt is a tee shirt. Some are better made than others.
  14. won't we be close enough to not need the video screens? We had the same section here in Greenville for the Time Machine Tour. It was on the far left side next to Alex, but was almost 90 degrees to the stage. Could not see the video screen at that angle. It could be different at Greensboro, but I looked at the seating chart and your 108 is exactly where our section 108 was. We enjoyed the show, but swore we would never have seats like that again. This time i spent the money required to get on the floor as close to the stage as I could. The band was to far away and Geddy was at the opposite end from where we were sitiing. So no. You need the video screens at that distance unless your section 108 is different that whats pictured on the seating chart.
  15. We had similar seats last time (Time Machine) they were here (sec 108) upper far left on Alex side. The seats sucked. It was a side view and you could not see the video screens. I hope its not that way for you at Greensboro. The sound was excellent though.

  17. If I liked any of the shirts there I would, but I don't. I haven't found any R40 shirts I've liked yet. Don't know if that's a blessing or a curse but I don't mind. I'm not overyly crazy about the R-40 design myself. Although had the quality been better, the $25 cost would have been well worth it. The shirts we got from Backstage Club were very thin. I did not relalize how thin until my wife bought me a beach tee at the mall last week. Its got a sailfish on the back type shirt. Its 4 times the thickness of the R-40's we bought and i think my wife paid $15.00 for it. Had the Rush shirts been this good, I would have been very happy. I'm not sure I'm wearing the new R-40 shirts to the show now. I hate cheap clothing. What do the tags say? Sounds like something to be avoided. I hope we aren't confusing the intentionally really thin tees with "cheap" ones. I have two of the former and really like them. They are certainly not made for all body types however... Thin like the Clockwork Angels '12 polo? I don't mind it on a polo, but wouldn't want that for a T-shirt, but I'm fashion unconscious anyway. I'm extremely picky about stuff like that. My Clockwork Angels 12 polo is thick to me. Its a weird material I will say that but I wouldn't consider it thin at all. It just feels weird to me. I actually carefully cut the collar away from mine and use it to workout in... I know the material you speak of as far as polos are concerned. It is heavy. The tee's though are not. Like I said earlier, I could buy a much better made shirt for half the money anywhere clothing is sold. Does anyone know why they did not list the venuse and dates on the back of the R-40 tee's?
  18. Hows Greensboro NC looking?

I posted the tag labeling a page or so back. They are thin and i am not sure if its on purpose or they are just cheap undershirts with the R-40 logo on the front. There are also no concert venues on the back. I just know if i had the opportunity to feel the material before buying them, I would not have bought them. I am also very picky and I have a very hard time buying clothes because of this. The shirts we got from Backstage Club are nice for a day at the beach. But will suck for a night with Rush.

  21. Which shirts, and from where did you order them? Backstage Club. Maybe I expect to much from a tee shirt. My wife really likes hers. I think/assume they are the same quality as if you bought a 4 pack of undershirts at Walmart. I have other tee's that are thicker and evidently have a higher thread count. I wish i knew more about thread count. I could use that as a barometer for quality. Anyway we got em and when we get to the show, we are going to look real hard at the merchandize to see if we got the same quality. Same product? The shirts I've bought from Backstage Club have all been really heavy material shirts. Much more so than any pack of undershirts you can buy. In fact they're so thick I rarely wear them in the summer because they're so warm. Well then the Backstage Club sent in me an enferior product? I just looked at the tag and it said M&O _________Heavy Now that i looked and checked it out better, it is a better shirt than the cheap shirts in Walmart. But not by much. I have other tee's in my closet (yes, I hang up tee shirts) that are much higher quality and they were alot cheaper. My COS tee from "Hot Topic" is the same quality as the ones we just got.
  22. Thanks for the explanation. I was wondering if our little state was just simply left off their map. It makes sense, though. Unless you're some cuntry music icon, forget about people in SC coming to your show. I love the term "cuntry"! Yes, it was disappointing to be at the show in Greenville as far as turnout. I had taken my wife to see Prince a month before the Rush concert and the place was rocking and looked like it was oversold. Not one empty seat in the house or on the concourses. I was kinda embarrased for Rush. Like I said. I would never return to Greenville SC. Looks like that will be the case forever now.
