Clockwork Angels Live DVD.

I have three choices for terrestrial radio. 1) Classic Rock 2) New Rock (Just newer stuff, mostly metal) 3) NPR College style station. I always listen to #2 as they play better music, but I have never heard one Rush song on that station. I am thinking I should write or call them and ask "WHY". There are many Rush songs that would go over well on that station!

I go to a neighborhood bar. A hole in the wall. Older southern people mixed with a few transplants. The bar owner to my amazement had an internet juke box installed. Pretty much any music you could want. Several patrons know my love for Rush, as they have seen me in Rush apparel and know I go to the concerts. So, I played a couple Rush songs the other day. Most everyone around the juke box moved to the other side of the room.

I guess all these guys and gals have day jobs? Would be hard to make a living off a tour once every few years. What do these people do for the majority of the time they are not working for Rush? Do they work for other bands when not on the Road with Rush?

I have given up on trying to convert. Its just not worth it.

I gotta say you are some great fan there. And it is a shame you must go alone. But at least you are going. I would never leave anything on my seat during the show or during the break. Chances are very good nothing happens. But it can and to ask for it to happen is to leave stuff for someone to take. You should only bring a small purse or something you can carry with you on your person. Leave you baggage and any other stuff you do not need in your hotel room. Carry only what you must have. My wife takes a small shoulder bag and never puts it down anywhere. I have worn a fanny pack and it works very well. I don't know Vancouver, but if its anything like the other big cities in the US, common sense is your best friend.

Stay off the floor unless you are right up front or 8' tall.

I ruined the last one I tried to apply to my rear window in my truck. I have replacements, but I'm afraid to do it myself. I am going to let someone else do this. I know its probably simple and it does look very easy to do. But I just am scared to mess up another one.

They are probably overcome with vistors since Rush is now popular.

Greensboro by far. No one sat either. Its the only show i saw. But it was much louder, full of more people than it was when Rush came to Greenville last tour.

A little off subject, but i had to say something. My wife got me a couple rush vinly decals for my truck. A red and a black color starman decal. Now I'm not a young guy anymore and I never ever put decals or stickers on any vehicle I ever owned. I considered them trashy looking. So i had zero idea as to how to apply them. But the decals were not very big and i picked out the red one as my truck is dark blue. I messed it up. Really pissed me off and even worse, I ruined the gift. I followed the directions and even watched a video on how to do it. I will be much more careful when the new one arrives. I told her to get two more just in case. It was a three ply vinyl. Paper backing then a clear sheet over the actual decal itself. Any special precautions or is it just me?

They takecredit cards and large, extra large are the absolute hardest sizes to get. I stood in line only to find out they had no large or extra large.

I hope those are sitting in front of me at my show. Darn. You're picture didn't post. We had two giants in front of us. My wife and i were changing seats to help her to see. I was on tip toes most of the show and I'm not that young anymore. It was kinda hard, but worth every minute. Chances are extremey high that you will be looking over other peoples shoulder if you are on the floor. We learned a valuble lesson at our show. Never buy floor seats unless you are in the front row. Or very close to the front row where you are looking up. The balcony seats on each side closest to the stage are the best seats in the house after front row. IMHO of course. Floor seats in a basketball arena are not conducive to a great view. Unless you up and personal with the stage.

I wonder what Chrissie Hynde. thinks about Limbaugh using her music as his bumper music? I have always wondered about this. I guess Google here I come.

(I have barely touched maximum and have 100's of photos there) 3) Use the "IMG" code for reply boxes like the one I'm typing into right now. 4) Use the "Direct" code for signature pics. Pearts dislike for Rand Paul actually helps me to like Peart even more. It is refreshing to hear his political view, as my views are very similar. It would take a special candidate for me to ever even consider voting republican for anything. So far, no one on the right could get my vote.

I was at the Greensboro show. Everyone, including those in the nose bleed seats were standing up, cheering, dancing and playing air drims and guitars. I did not sit once for the complete show except for intermission. We stood for every song! No one around me sat down either. I actually took pictures of the audience above to see and they were acting as if they were in the first row. I am still amazed at the crowd at our show. If you were sitting, you were in the minority.

I had no idea some years ago just how good/great Prince is. Dale turned me on to him one night after i had played about 5 hours of Rush DVD's. It was a high energy rock song, very long with some excellent musicians having a great time. It was just amazing. There was a chick playing the hell out of the drums in the video. I knew about him, but did not know much about the music. When i found out just how good a musician he is, it was just natural to like his work.
