so im at work listening to power windows. a friend of mine offers to let me try out 2 different pairs of headphones ( mine are 10 dollar pair I bought at k-mart) One of her pairs were the dr. dre powerbeats (those things kick a$$), the other were bose. Mind was blown, realized I could no longer listen to rush with crappy headphones I believe the Powerbeats were around $150 in cost, the bose ones were about $100 I need to by myself a good pair of headphones (earbud style). Hope i dont need to spend $150 bucks to get a good pair. Anyone have a good recommendation for something maybe $50-$100

Good luck! I have had friends use chantix, just a heads up most of them said they had some really bizarre dreams and sleeping habits. I dont smoke but I do use chewing tobacco, not any better of a habit.

my experience is the better the sound system, the better a well recorded album will sound, and the more magnified the flaws a poorly recorded album will sound. this makes sense. I unfortunately do not have a good sound system, usually listen to music in car. I love VT. I understand and can hear all the flaws people complain about, but for me I can get past it. I did listen to it on some really nice bose headphones a friend of me let me borrow at work, WOW the flaws were very noticeable and it did distract and take away from the experience significantly overall I love the album, and right now I probably rank it above CA (just for me, not saying its better music, just I enjoy listening to it more). It takes me a while to fall in love with an album, I could definitely see in a few years CA being in my top 5 rush albums, just not yet

interesting- in my opinion S&A is pretty clean compared to VT, T4E, hold your fire. honestly, I havent fallen in love with CA yet, not yet in my top 10 rush albums. I honestly love VT, think T4E is unnderrated, and S&A kicks a$$. and in addition, I cant think of any album that alexs guitarwork sounds like crap. It may be that you have a more sophisticated palate than myself when it comes to tone (not being sarcastic)

I remember i rented the movie at the public library when I was like 13. All kinda weird fantasy scene sprinkled in. I was really really into zeppelin at the time and despite that It was hard to sit through. Probably requires some herbal influence to get the whole experience
