Alex took photos with lots of people! I wouldn't say Geddy left early, he did shake a lot of hands and sign lots of stuff. But Alex spent a lot more time taking photos, signing stuff, and chatting. It was surprisingly easy to get up to the front where they entered and exited, and they were super nice about signing autographs.

You can't DL WinRAR to blow 'em up? I can download them. I can't open them or utilize them in any way. I'm on a Mac, but I can't do them on my pc either. Winrar usually works for me on my ������ but I have no clue about mac..... That should be "PC".

I caved in and looked at the setlist. Got halfway through the download from turbobit, then it failed(turbobit never works for me). The mega links aren't working either.... I need a better browser.

I just don't want to be disappointed again with the sh*t sound. Someone please tell me the sound quality is as clear and concise as dropping the needle on my 38 year old copy of ATWAS!! This is no crappy bootleg! It's definitely worth getting.

Power Windows is one of the albums I had not purchased nor listened to because I thought it would be awful.... the 80's synch reputation and all that. I finally bought it in like 2009 and have to say that it is one of my favorites. Easily in the top 10 Rush albums. (Close to top 5, but i'd have to think about that.....)

I haven't seen a reference to "Hemispheres", so i'll throw one out there: Hemispheres, from various bootlegs circa 1978 & 1979. I'll go with............... Buenas Noches motor city- 12/02/1978.

Heh, funny timing for this thread. I just got Lamb yesterday (borrowed from the library, why not?) as a starter and I like it a lot. I would recommend it. Maybe start with Selling England by the Pound- from the posts in this thread, it sounds like that is even better.

definitely, it's a great album, one of my favorites.

It's a tough question. There used to be whole albums that I skipped: Power Windows, GuP, and Presto, but in the last few years I gave them a try and now like them quite a bit, especially Presto. Years ago, I hated it, so much that I sold the CD to a used CD place. A few years ago I gave it another try and now it is among my favorites. How things change! As for songs, I guess I could say Hemispheres. I always liked The Trees and La Villa Strangiato, but didn't get into Hemispheres as much. After hearing various live versions I started to like the song more an more.

Other than the remixed Vapor Trails, this is nothing exciting, or am I missing something? The other albums are just reissues, no?

The instrumental part of the Trees leading up to (and including) the solo, and until "the maples formed a union". Eh, I guess that's not really a "bit", but oh well.

+1 overall I like SNA a lot, and this is one of my favorite songs on it (at least right now!)

ha ha, maybe you do need to reach enlightenment to get that song. :) But until then I agree with Geddy, that is one song that I always skip, and I otherwise like HYF.

I agree with everything you said. I'm about 60 pages in and I'm not sure I can read any more. Oh well, just return it to the library...
