  1. Reminds me of that line from the movie Fanboys: "Rush is variety, bitch!"
  2. Make sure you go see this thread: http://www.therushforum.com/index.php?/topic/87641-great-wedding-cover-band/
  3. One of the (very) few highlights from this disc.
  4. High school? You sure have become very familiar with an awful lot of music in your relatively few years on this earth.
  5. This sort of thing happens to me way too frequently with GnR's "Sweet Child of Mine." o_O I avoid that song like the plague, but got-d*mn do I wake up with that crappy tune way too often. It makes me want to commit a bit of the ol' ultraviolence upon my own skull. (Now cranking up Deep Purple's "In Rock" to ensure it doesn't get stuck now.)
  6. I gave you a "like," Steevo, just for that Hanneman avatar! I'm guessing you're aware that Friday will be the one-year anniversary of his passing. It will be an all-Slayer day for me.
  7. Weird! I was seriously planning on starting a thread on this topic tonight. All day -- when I wasn't playing music, that is -- I had Genesis' "Fountain of Salmacis" stuck in my head. But it kept morphing into Deep Purple! There's an ascending keyboard line, I think, in "Salmacis" that resembles one in Purple's "Speed King." The shift would occur, without fail, when I wasn't really paying close attention to the music in my head. Bugged the crap out of me.
  8. I'm firmly in the "not diggin' it" camp. But I'm still looking forward to the release date anyway; there are ten other tunes on there, after all. Maybe the single will grow on me over time.
  9. Plugging that sentence into Google tells me it's "Fireflies" by Owl City.
  10. I've always dug Ricochet. I think I'll have to play it next...
  11. I got 2 out of 3 of those as well. But I must give precedence to Bangkok over Lessons, for it's one of my fave 70s tunes.

  13. What a tedious "quiz." You are Caress of Steel. People aren't exactly sure how to gauge you. One minute you're storming a prison to free the wrongly jailed, the next you're obsessing over your receding hairline, and moments after that you're explaining -- at great length -- about some kind of mission involving magic and death. Are you righteous, vain or a misunderstood genius? Maybe all three. Perhaps people just need to take their time to really know you.
  14. It's April 15 and my car is covered in snow.
  15. And there's a Barchetta Dr. there too! :dweez:
  16. I noticed that too! I half expected several more proggy monikers in the neighborhood, but alas.
  17. If you're an obsessive Geddy-lover and I didn't tag you, my apologies. I can't keep track of all you people. :P Check this out: https://www.google.c...pCQ!2e0!6m1!1e1
  18. You especially would be pleased to know there's a Geddy Drive in Land O Lakes, FL.
