  1. I don't remember the last time I bought a GA ticket.
  2. I stopped checking out Youtube and set lists after S & A - knowing the entire concert beginning to end kind of took something out of it.
  3. Are we actually voting on the date that federal and international crime may take place? Against a band we like? Gee, how do we treat bands we don't like?
  4. The winner of the K-Y Women's Open remains locked in her cabana room.
  5. QUOTE (myturn2drive @ May 10 2012, 12:52 PM) Trick question...there is no Rush album that I ever hated. See above.
  6. I think I'm going Bald is the Passage to Bangkok of the CoS.
  7. Let's not be part of the piracy problem.
  8. It did seem like a lot of money for tickets you can't sell.
  9. QUOTE (losingit2k @ May 15 2012, 09:51 PM) I'm expecting more of the same from the TTMT, (Steampunk & Pyros), but I'm hoping they include some lasers this time around! They'll open with Don't Stop Believing. Wait, is that a Rush song?
  10. QUOTE (eshine @ May 16 2012, 06:09 PM) Seriously - I love this forum but show some respect. Not all of us are salivating for every morsel of detail, impatiently demanding the album and starting endless polls that mean nothing. I'm not trying to start shit - but some of us are perfectly fine enjoying the wait and anticipation without having it spoiled by others. Thanks. Fair enough. ...but BU2B is now titled 'Me2PP'
  11. Still have not heard it in Chicago and I've been in the car a lot this week.
  12. You know, some of the 'epics' are only 7 - 11 minutes long. (that includes the 5 minutes of wind chimes and coconut shells)
  13. QUOTE (Gedneil Alpeart @ May 15 2012, 05:55 PM) If you were given a great privilege to interview Geddy, Alex, and Neil and were allowed onky three questions to ask all of them sitting together, what would they be? I gotta think about this one before answering myself! WHAT... is your name? WHAT... is your quest? WHAT... is your favorite color?
  14. QUOTE (RUSHandOSU @ May 16 2012, 04:44 PM) anybody have any idea.. Ive found a couple of files but they look fake so i refuse to open them. I know its about that time usually about 3-4 weeks before its leaked if anybody has any info that would be great! I hope it doesn't get leaked. Sounds like they put a lot of work into this album and they are entitled to release it on their own terms... and be compensated handsomely.
  15. One Little Victor is a RUSH song. It makes the hairs on your neck stand up. It's visual. It gets non-fans to say, "What song is that, it's cool."
  16. QUOTE (An Enemy Without @ May 15 2012, 11:08 PM)QUOTE (KenJennings @ May 15 2012, 10:51 PM) I'm just screwing around here... sorry 73. Close it if you want. I'm tired of threads getting closed. It's just so depressing. If I were running this place I'd be the most hands-off guy imaginable. In other words, mental masturbation? Hands-off... Get it? Didn't sammy write a song about that?
  17. QUOTE (losingit2k @ May 15 2012, 11:11 PM)Do you think that Roadrunner records is at least partially responsible for all this angst and animosity? Don't you think we are all just a bit on edge cause we all know that their is a finished product out there and they are holding its release just a make a few more bucks. Of course this has no refection or anything to do with . I may be naive but I personally think its out of their hands. I'm placing the blame strictly on the executives of Roadrunner Records. I do believe things would be much more civil around here if we had Clockwork Angels in our hands already. Any thoughts? Mass producing CDs / DVD-Roms, and cases and prepping them for shipping takes time. Promoting a CD, building market interest and anticipation also takes time and money. Roadrunner P & A have brilliantly capitalized on many different forms of media to get the word out there. Every little blurb you see, every interview Geddy does, everything thing is planned build to interest in the upcoming release. I'm betting 1 or 2 roadrunner folks have accounts on this board and are monitoring the buzz around here... In fact, they're probably reading this right now. Spooky... Kudos to Roadrunner for promoting the biggest cult band in the world as the biggest band on your label. The boys must feel great about it.
  18. QUOTE (Snowman @ May 15 2012, 12:36 AM) Agreed, why all this comparisons all the time. I am just glad they still release interesting music. It will be a sad day when I get the message of their retirement. I think their new music is splendid. I still listen to and enjoy Caravan and BU2B, 2 years after the release. That is a quality stamp IMO. Yeah, totally what he said. x2
  19. QUOTE (Lost In Xanadu @ May 14 2012, 02:02 PM) Where is BU2B? I am VERY interested to hear how the reworked version will sound. Good point.
  20. QUOTE (jesse2112 @ May 13 2012, 10:59 PM) Who cares what they play its ! I have never walked away from a Rush show thinking that the set sucked. And I've never had a bad time at a Rush show Yeah, what he said...
