  1. I was surely pissed when CBS cancelled Shark with James Woods after only two seasons. Likewise with Boston Public. These were very good shows IMO and a hell lot better than some of the shows on now. Why do they cancel the goods shows anyway? Some real morons at the networks if you ask me..... :boo hiss:
  2. Thank God Run Like Hell has been already listed!! It's my personal favorite....
  3. Nice pic of Alex...I've never seen this one before!! :ebert:
  4. I'd go back to 1986 to see Freddie Mercury & Queen at the Knebworth show! The DVD is just amazing!! What a party crowd!!
  5. Wow, that's scary! Was that the Who concert I heard about? What was the mad rush (no pun intended here) about anyway?? Getting in or out of there?
  6. No, you do have a good point. They decided to ride that gravy train all the way to the bank. Can't blame them! The music during the Peter period was much different IMO and didn't generate the same amount of interest.
  7. Yep, let them rest up a bit and then do a kickass R40 just like the current tour energy-wise! They are on fire right now!! :ebert: :yay:
  8. Nahhh, not when it comes to Rush shows! You'll be just fine!!! Hershey will be a blast...coming back to PA to see the boys... :yay: :ebert:
  9. Here's a fun fact - at that show in '92 two cool things happened. 1. Alex played the opening riff to Fly By Night at the beginning of the soundcheck 2. Neil shaved his head into a mohawk before the show and at the end of the show when he ripped off his bandanna Ged and Alex were genuinely shocked. - There is also a photo of said Mohawk in the artwork for Counterparts. Actually one of his roadies ripped it off,and then don't forget the fake spider that was lowered in front of him from the rafters. Did he freak out when he saw it? Assuming that it was the size of a hand.
  10. That experience must have been just awesome!! :ebert:
  11. I've been up since 4am... I feel like I could run a marathon. Yeah, I got about 2 hours sleep from 5 -7 am...running on fumes at this point... I went VIP three times today with two checkouts at 11:01 am and 11:04 am CST respectively for Hershey and Grand Rapids. For Chicago, checkout was at 12:01 pm. I'm stoked!!!! :yay: :cheerleader:  .
  12. We got summer dates   ....Hooray!!! Nothing like planning your :rush: vacation at 3 am!!!!! :yay: :cheerleader:  :guitar: :haz: :rush: :rush: :haz:
  13. The CAS album was okay, just the vocals were severely lacking without Phil IMO. What really burns me up now is that Hackett will be touring soon playing reworked Genesis songs...hey Steve, guess what? There are two other Genesis members, Tony and Mike..why not hook up with them and tour? I'm guessing that Tony quickly put a end to that thought since I sensed some friction between them at their Hall of Fame induction back in 2010.
  14. Awww, cute playful moment!...The shepherd could have the kitty for lunch if it wanted trust me....
  15. :LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO: ...hey, I'm rolling on the floor over here! Best post ever!! But I'm sure Neil doesn't want to hear about this shit either....no one is happy unless that they can complain and do this :boohoo: :boohoo: :boohoo: ??? Cranky, Cranky..... Oh, I know why...they don't get enough of this or :pussy: :laughing guy: :laughing guy: (okay, I said it....) Heeeeyyyyyy.....take it easy on the Goobs. He just needs a TRF hug. Just a hug? Nahhh, I think he needs more than that!!! :laughing guy: :laughing guy:

  17. I blame them all equally :) :outtahere: Me too. Phil was not solely responsible for Genesis turning into a pop band. To argue otherwise is to deny Mike and the Mechanics. For me as an old avid Phil Collins/Genesis fan, Phil ruined Genesis when he decided to leave back in '95!!. The new singer, Ray, couldn't hold a candle to Phil and fans such as myself were surely turned off. Believe me, I tried again and again to listen to the new stuff to no avail. It wasn't the same! Tony and Mike were desperate to continue on without Phil, but sadly there's no replacing Phil IMO....The reunion tour back in 2007 was a real treat and $$$$ maker, but everyone had a sense that it was a one-off thing and wouldn't last. Never got into the Peter period with Genesis, but his solo stuff is really great!!
  18. Happy Birthday!!! :yay:  :cheerleader: :ebert:  :) :7up:
  19. Hubby gave me a cute, beautiful card today with two smooching mice on it!! Hey, better late then never!! :yay: :cheerleader:
  20. Nope. The leg beginning late June is Northeast --> Midwest --> Canada --> ending in the Northeast. Then the final few dates after a break are NW Canada --> Northwest --> Midwest. How about another Indy or St. Louis show? Odds are against either of those cities this year. Any city that isn't Chicago, NYC or possibly somewhere in California most likely wont get a show if they had one in 2012. Closest show to Indy will probably be Cincy and the closest to St. Louis will be KC. Cincy?? Well, considering I drove 8.5 hrs to Indy, what's another 4!!! I've been to KC before so that's about 11 hours....really looking for "smaller" indoor venues like Indy and Hershey as I've never been to an outdoor summer rock concert before; probably hot as hell and I can't take the heat anymore...concerned about missing half of the light show as well. You drove 8 1/2 hours? I don't feel so bad driving 8 hours to Atlanta last November then. :P Luckily I live half an hour from Cincy, so that one will be easy. Usually I have to drive at least a couple of hours. Yep, I know I'm crazy, but hey it's :rush: !!! (Hubby thought I was out of my mind!) Did a big loop...drove down to Indy show first, then back up to the Chicago show, then came home to WI. The best road trip I've done by myself!!! So you're a half hour from Cincy, that's great!! How is the venue there?
