  1. true, there was a very hot babe involved, and it wasn't one of the members of warrant - their hair just made them look like women. And I believe that hot babe ended up marrying Jani Lane if I'm not mistaken.
  2. The answer is Yes, they did play pre-release versions of songs from AFTK. I have a boot from June 2/77 with the pre-release version of Xanadu (with slightly different lyrics from the album version).
  3. Apparently, the whole thing was staged and Gordon wasn't actually driving. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/early-lead/wp/2013/03/15/jeff-gordons-test-drive-viral-video-for-pepsi-is-fake/

    NORM!

Woody: "What's going down, Mr. Peterson?" Norm: "My butt cheeks on the stool"
  5. I've noticed that when I click on the "View New Content" button, it doesn't display all of the threads that have been updated since my last visit (I have it set to show posts since my last visit). Also, the number of threads displayed per page seems to vary. For example, it might show 4 pages of threads but there will be 12 threads on the first page, maybe 6 or 7 threads on page 2, 10 threads on page 3, etc.

    Exit Stage Left

QUOTE (mazyyz @ Oct 6 2012, 02:33 PM) QUOTE (Mieko8 @ Oct 3 2012, 11:11 PM) Hi, I'm new here. Forgive me if this has been discussed elsewhere. Has anyone ever seen the entire Exit Stage Left concert? Does it even exist? We've all seen the video and we all know it doesn't include the entire show. I'd love to see The Camera Eye, Vital Signs, Witch Hunt, Spirit of Radio, and the others excluded from the released version. Thanks.... Not to mention Jacob's Ladder. JL wasn't played on the MP tour. The version on ESL is from the Permanent Waves tour.
  7. QUOTE (rushgoober @ Aug 25 2012, 01:34 AM) Tom Cruise - A Few Good Men, Born on the Fourth of July, Risky Business, The Color of Money, Rain Man, Jerry Maguire, Minority Report, Vanilla Sky, etc. Cruise's best performance may have been in Tropic Thunder.
  8. QUOTE (rushgoober @ Jul 26 2012, 04:10 PM) What's REALLY cool is that there's a guy waving in the background of the Permanent Waves cover. Anyone notice this? Who IS that guy? It's Hugh Syme.
  9. In all the promo materials and reviews I have seen for Clockwork Angels, it is always described as "Rush's 20th studio album". But is it really? It's only 19 by my count (unless you count Feedback - which I don't). What do you guys think? Is this their 20th studio album? Do you count Feedback?
  10. QUOTE (jnoble @ Jun 15 2012, 11:13 PM) If only Geddy can get his ability to compose/sing a good melody back AND Neil can go back to writing lyrics that can more easily be put into a good song again, I'd like it much more. Pretty much all of Neil's lyrics starting with VT make for interesting poetry but awkward sounding songs...too many words in most. This. The biggest thing preventing me from fully enjoying this album is Geddy's vocals. Seven Cities of Gold is a perfect example. The music is good but Ged's vocals make the song practically unlistenable.
  11. Calgary, 2007. S&A Tour. Neil's kit would not spin during the solo, so he had to do the electronic part of the solo with his back to the crowd.
  12. I'm finding the more I listen to CA, the less I like it.
  13. QUOTE (Bastille Night @ Jun 12 2012, 05:00 PM) So I picked up my CD copy today at Best Buy, and this is what's on the back. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v335/bastillenight/IMG_0133.jpg Edited to shrink photo to reasonable size! Same thing on mine.
  14. Mine also has the "0:00" times on the back. I didn't actually notice it until I got home.
  15. We haven't even heard the bloody album yet and we're already giving them a Grammy???
  16. QUOTE (JohnnyBlaze @ May 21 2012, 02:43 AM) QUOTE (tel @ May 21 2012, 04:36 PM) grace under pressure is probably the the most accessable for a new listener Great album but how do you figure that? Yeah, I would say P/G is one of the least accessible
  17. QUOTE (SchemingDemon @ May 12 2012, 07:29 PM) Has anyone else flat-out refused to "upgrade" to the timeline? YES! And it's not because I'm one of those people who just hates change. I find the Timeline layout too cluttered and messy. I like the normal layout...nice and streamlined and easy to follow.
  18. I managed to get 6th row for Toronto. I'm happy.
  19. Here are some of my unpopular opinions: - Many people around here seem to love Counterparts, but I think it's one of their weakest albums and the songs are mostly forgettable. - T4E is an excellent album. I don't get the hate most people have for this album. - S&A is an awesome album. Again, I don't get all the hate. - I think Red Sector A is an awesome live song. I know it's not a popular opinion but I hope they bring it back. - I wouldn't miss TSOR if they retired it from the setlist. Same for Working Man.
  20. I always crank "Third Eye" (Salival version) by Tool.
  21. I did the VIP thing on the last tour and it paid off BIG TIME! Front Row Centre (!!!) at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto! I'll most likely do the VIP option again this time around.
  22. QUOTE (rushgoober @ Apr 12 2012, 08:13 PM) To say "kind of a dick move" is an insult to dick moves everywhere.
