  1. Wow, I had no idea TNK has been covered so many times....it was always one of my favs, just freaky enough to drive my parents crazy. Very 60's psychedelic and I remember the first time I heard it on the radio...the DJ was freaked out..he said wow guy you can do better than that! I loved it, still do. thanks for sharing these :goodone:
  2. One more to add, this song always makes me want to dance, just love the groove. Saw him in concert this summer and it was superb!! Oye Como Va Santana
  3. Mr. Blue Sky ELO Spirit of Radio Rush Here Comes the Sun Beatles Marathon Rush Every Little Thing She Does The Police
  4. I wish I was there to help. There is an association for Stroke family members. https://www.stroke.org/en/stroke-support-group-finder. Maybe you can find someone locally to give you some support and help. You are in my prayers.
  5. Hey hockey pal, Happy Anniversary :dweez: :hockeygoon: :madra:
  6. To tell you the truth, I'm scared. :( It's ok to be scared, goodness knows you have a reason to be. Just take it a day at a time.
  7. Hoping things continue to progress for both of you. Take care of yourself and lean on us (even though we aren't physically there with you) I know everyone wants to help however they can.

    Marathon

I fell in love with this song when I heard it on the Time Machine Tour CD. The synthesizer solo gives me chills, it floats and shimmers and if I close my eyes I feel as if I am there in the audience. Never get tired of listening to it...
  9. So sorry to hear this, I know it is so hard when you don't have others there to lean on. Keep up posted when you can, I agree with all the other posts, we are here for you and want to help any way we can. You are stronger than you think, just know we are praying for both of you Listening to Marathon and thinking of you, hang in there my friend :musicnote:
  10. Absolutely!! It was funny and great music! Rush is STILL the best! :rush: :Neil: :Alex: :geddy:
  11. Went with my sister and her son-in-law (soon to be). /There were 3 showings in our city and all sold out which surprises me, in a good way. Fun watching all the folks with various t-shirts and their kids with them. It was like being at the concert again, brought back lots of good memories. Sound was good and had a good view from comfy seats. Yeah this isn't the same as having them back but it sure beats NO Rush. Watching some of the bloopers was hilarious, had a good laugh. Makes me sad they are done but they went out on a great note and even if they are old guys, they sure can play!! My sis has been a follower since she was 12, I didn't get to enjoy them that long but glad I saw them 3 times in concert. :dweez: :geddy: :Alex: :Neil: :rush: :haz:
  12. Been listening to this almost every day this week Countdown Even though it is about the Space Shuttle, it fits with the Apollo 11 anniversary this week :dweez:
  13. Thank you friend, good to hear from you. :)
  14. Well, I lost my sweet Minnie yesterday. She wouldn't eat for a day and half so I couldn't take it anymore. Such a cutie, still feisty to the end, gave the vet techs hell. It hurts to let them go but I didn't want her to starve to death. Hoping she's on the Rainbow Bridge with our other kitties.
  15. A nice bouncy one Joe Jackson Steppin' Out
  16. I remember how we used to get up early in the morning to watch the Gemini missions before I went to school. The summer of the Moon landing was very memorable and I get goose bumps as I watch these videos. The CNN movie had a lot of new (unseen before) footage and it made me so proud and happy to be an American, :sigh: those were wonderful days. I listened to Countdown yesterday and I think I will again. Even though it was about the Space Shuttle, it still gives me that sense of pride when I listen to it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XW-8yCKwhBE
