  1. Agree on all accounts. I saw Zep in '77 and they were good but not great. They were better in the 2nd half of the show. Don't know if it was cuz Page's drugs kicked in or wore off. I love the Eagles studio stuff but that live album is underappreciated.
  2. Great post and you named a number of my favorites as did LABT with the UFO. \ By the way, I saw the REAL Skynyrd in October of '76 in Seattle and One More From the Road was recorded on that tour so that album takes me back every time I listen to it.
  3. 1996 - Tiny Music....Songs From The Vatican Gift Shop by Stone Temple Pilots
  4. 2004 - Holiday/Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day
  5. 1994 - Fell On Black Days by Soundgarden
  6. No no no, you're supposed to pick one from each pair, like each pairing of a Tom Petty album with a Bob Dylan album. You can choose all of the Dylan albums if you want, no need for tough choices between albums of the same artist in this poll! Oh Ok, I misunderstood. I re-voted and went with Dylan obviously and added Damn and The Waiting for the Tom album and song to go with Rolling Stone and Blood for Bob's song and album.
  7. "The only pick me up that's here to stay"
  8. 1992 - Wicked Garden by Stone Temple Pilots
  9. watered down drinks (when in Nevada, drink beer, wine or booze neat/on the rocks)
  10. Choosing Petty is choosing the student over the master. Tom is a whole lot of Dylan meets the Byrds though don't get me wrong there's also plenty of Tom himself in there too. And I do love Tom's music but Dylan is the greatest songwriter of our time. By the way, I chose Blood over Blonde and Hwy 61 and that was a really, really tough choice.
  11. The only one I own is the Robin Trower one released in '96 but recorded in '77. It's so fukking good I'm fully satisfied after listening and don't feel the need for a biscuit.
