I'm not against flogging, but, provided it doesn't go against the Eighth Amendment, forcing him to attend White Sox home games with his mouth taped shut, sitting next to Hawk Harrelson for 9+ innings, would be my preference. And for night games, making him walk home could be part of the punishment.

Horrible that he didn't live to see his induction, but glad to know he survived to see his long, long overdue election. RIP.

I never thought I'd live long enough to see the Replacements lumped in with Springsteen and Mellencamp. Dylan (or Robert Zimmerman) was from Hibbing, Minnesota, in the Iron Range, which is an area dominated, even today, by the unions so he's got the bona fides for heartland working class rock, at least in terms of background. Never really considered his lyrics to be that in line with the union ethos, though.
