We are very lucky! My brother and I have been playing in bands for 35 years now. It's even better with my son. We wouldn't be doing it now if he hadn't started drumming. Thanks so much!

This should be a topic to post all of your Rush covers under. Please post any cover you've done to a Rush song under this topic,

Noticed you are from the Cleveland area. We have played there a few times and hope to be back soon. Friend us on facebook if you have already, and I'll add you the "Ohio Rush Fans" group I created. www.facebook.com/distantsignals

Just finished this one up today...I'll probably go back and tinker with the EQ on the drum track...just got some newer mics and havent fully dialed them in yet...but its decent enough to throw on the youtubes for now.

Back in the late 80s and throughout the 90s I was in a series of bands in Austin. We mostly did original tunes, but everyone once in a while we'd have fun butchering Rush songs. Here's an example of that.

Nice job and nice Carvin.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure this was close to the last gig I played it. It had recently been autographed by Alex and so I bought a DC135 to use in its place.

I like Carvins for their workmanship, but I'm not too hot on their pickups. I tend to replace the bridge pickups,as I had on that V220.

Agreed. Plus, JARG looks like a rock star!

Yeah but then you'd look like Yngwie. You don't want that.

Yes, that would be bad, considering the guy can play circles around me.
