  1. My son doing a drum cover of all 20 minutes of 2112 outdoors.
  2. Must've been smokin' hot that night! You don't see Ged or Alex going sleeveless to often.
  3. This is just the funniest thing ever XD
  4. said nobody ever. I don't think any lead vocals are sampled, maybe just some backups and harmonies.
  5. My son doing a drum cover of "Workin' Them Angels" in his studio.
  6. The Garden. The WHOLE song, from the first note to the last, and especially going into the guitar solo and the outro. I'd say Camera Eye gives me some chills too. This is a great topic!
  7. Absolutely, Snakes And Arrows was one of the best set lists ever, with everything from Circumstances to Mission, and so much in between. That was such a good tour.
  8. Same here! Haha. The organist plays Subdivisions at the Pittsburgh Penguin games a lot here, too.
  9. Rush Tribute Band does New World Man Livehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5baIDUYupg
  10. I definitely agree. That was one of the best surprises of this tour I think. Same with Middletown Dreams and Manhattan Project.
  11. The emotion on Neil's face during The Garden was amazing Oh, yeah, absolutely. I saw them twice this tour, but the 2nd time when I was on the floor in Cleveland was unlike any other. That was probably my favorite concert of all time and I've been seeing them since the All The World's A Stage tour.
  12. My favorite to see live was probably The Garden, just on this tour. I would love to see them play Available Light, for one that they've never played before.
  13. Tell us what is your favorite Rush song to see them play live. It has to be one that they have played live before. If you want, tell us which one you'd like to see them play live that they never have played live.
  14. Dude. That was really, really awesome. You are very lucky to have an all family Rush tribute band. Superb!!! We are very lucky! My brother and I have been playing in bands for 35 years now. It's even better with my son. We wouldn't be doing it now if he hadn't started drumming. Thanks so much!
  15. The Rush Tribute Band ft. my brother on guitar and vocals, my son on drums, and myself on keys and bass. The Spirit of Radio-live June 28th http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0HlUP1iXrw
  16. Private message me or whatever your email and I can send you a file I made for it. I think it's what you're talking about.
  17. Even if they don't tour in 2014, doesn't mean they can't still celebrate their 40th birthday the next year. They will have a celebration of R40, I'm positive. They are that loyal to their fans and wouldn't blow them off. It's just a matter of when.
  18. Anything but Jacobs Ladder!
  19. Well, I was gonna say "Hope" but that's not on here ;) But I would say Cygnus X-1 Book 2, or The Garden, but that's not on here either.
  20. I'd take TFE over VT. Though VT is lyrically powerful and moving, even more, Test For Echo just has stunning songs to me on it. The songs on TFE are ones that I love seeing live. The thing that I think made Counterparts great was that it came after what I think is their weakest, Roll The Bones. Counterparts is still heavy and great either way.
  21. I'm thinking that after this tour, they are obiously gonna take some time off, then come late summer/early fall of 2014, the R40 tour will start!! At the end of that, there will be lots of time off I'm thinking. I'd say not a new album and tour till 2017/2018.
  22. That is a great way to start my week!!!
  23. I'm not drummer, but my son is. He says both Cygnus X-1 Book 1 is one of the toughest as well as The Weapon and Jacob's Ladder. (But of course they all are) He did a drum cover of Cygnus X-1. Check it out under the Topic "Your Rush Covers" under the Making Modern Music part of TRF
