Dinner at Cafe' Presto!
Shame I wont be there this year.

Wander down St. Cats after the show.. by the strip clubs.
(true story here) in '02... walking from the hotel to the Bell Centre.. passing the strip clubs and the doormen are out barking for people to come in... as we walk by "36 girls, 72 nipples!"

We couldnt stop laughing.

One of those hawkers on that strip once said to my group "You gotta come in and see this! it's like Disneyland on LSD in there!"

Hahaha, its funny because they used the same line on me and my group when I was there a few years ago. The guy was also wearing a trench coat, and when he did the whole 36 girls, 72 nipples thing, he would open up his coat like in those classic gangster movies and he would have pictures of boobs around the entire inside of his coat. He's hustling boobies, they've got to make money somehow.

So I got Ged's side. I have a question for those who have seen concerts front row or close: how good are the seats when the seat numbers are in the range of 36-42? Will I be able to see Ged only? Are these actually good tickets or would reds be preferable? I've never been on the floor or anywhere near this close at a concert.

My son and I are going to the Montreal show.  We got 2 seats (section 113), decent seats, through today's MT presale.  Will try to upgrade when they go on sale to the public on Saturday.

I didn't know the presale started yesterday (too busy - duh!) but I got them today. They are selling 115 and 123 now, which is still not bad. 113 is great! I don't expect you'll get any better at the public sale, I always got better tickets on the pre-sales.

USB, check out the map below, if you zoom it up 400%, you will actually see row and seat numbers. Floor seats go from 1 on Alex's side to 42 on Ged's, so you're at the end of the row. This is Montreal, expect to be standing up most of the show smile.gif.

Thanks, looks like my seats aren't so great of a view. I actually thought I would be AT the stage rather than away from it. I picked floor this time because last year my friends and I were threatened if we stood up  for the concert (we had red section 124). My concern is what we'll be able to see. I've been to the Bell Centre many times but I've never been anywhere near this close.

It's not a bad seat, you're still in the front row and that in itself is cool.
You'll see everything fairly well but you might have to duck and dive to avoid Geddy's keyboard stand.

The big downside to being all the way to one side is you wont get much Alex. He'll come over once or twice, but your show for the most part will be watching Geddy and hopefully you'll have a view through the mess of technology which is Neil's kit.

You'll have a blast for sure.

I'll get tickets for Toronto and Montreal on Saturday when the sale is opened for public. I don't expect to get to the nosebleed section in any of the shows, but this may be my only chance to catch them live on this tour, so I'll take it!
