I plan on going thru a broker or ebay to get a pair for the chicago show. First 5 rows. Usually you get stuck having to buy 2 this way. If anyone else is in the same boat and wants to share a pair of really good seats for this show let me know. My spending limit is $400 per ticket for this show. But I think I can get something really decent for that price.

So what is the best way to get good tickets to this venue?

I hope to take off work and drive up the night before so if there are any meet ups I would love to hang with other Rush fans!

Was given $145 so I could see this show with my dad. I went to the 07/05 show and am still pissed off about the entire VIP treatment, so now I don't know if I just want to hold off and see if good seats go for cheaper (even though I don't trust eBay and I can't really do CL being from MI), or if I just want to buy the shitty nosebleed seats for my price-range, augh...I just know that they're getting nowhere near what I paid for the "VIP" tickets.

The neighborhood surrounding the UC is just about the worst in Chicago.

I'd suggest somewhere north of there. As far as a cool place to hang before the show.......Reggies on State St. Good bar, decent food and not too far from the UC.
The Billygoat Tavern is right by the UC. The food is NOTHING to write home about and it's not even the original Billygoat Tavern.

Google for food and hotels around the burbs surrounding the city. They will be a bit cheaper and the drive is about 45 min.

I'm gonna be at this show. Wouldn't mind meeting someone somewhere before the show. Hopefully me and my brother get in and get settled in our hotel room with plenty of time to spare before the show starts. The hotel were going to be at is an hour away in heavy traffic but only 20 minutes in lighter traffic.

Anyways hit me up in my inbox anytime between now and april to figure something out.

Hey I've played @ Reggies! Anyone planning on going there before the show? 3/4 of Chronicles will be there.

It would be good to see some forum peeps. Maybe an acoustic jam before the show?
